2Timothy 4:18 “And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve [me] unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom [be] glory for ever and ever. Amen.”  

Our Creator is vexed by what is happening in this world today.  Evil men have transgressed both natural and spiritual laws and turned their backs on Him.  They have sold their souls to the devil and cause all sorts of pain and suffering for God’s people.  The righteous are attacked and persecuted at every turn.  We are tempted and taunted, tried and tested in everything that we think, say and do. 

There is a cosmic battle of good vs. evil that is raging everywhere.  It is becoming increasingly difficult to follow the Lord with all of the darkness and deception that surround us.  We are assailed on all fronts and we desperately need God’s help to set matters straight for all time.  We must get back to basics and seek His face as never before, in order to survive the critical days that lie ahead of us.   

Almighty God will sovereignly move to correct the imbalance that currently exists and restore peace, order and stability to our lives, as He originally intended.  He will intervene in our affairs and usher in His everlasting Kingdom to this earth.  He will not permit lawlessness and rebellion in any of His creatures.  He will soon judge both men and angels and execute fairness and justice for all.   

The Lord will ultimately rid this planet of all its wickedness and evil and gather His beloved children to Himself as He promised.  All men will learn to be righteous, loving and obedient or be forever punished in the unquenchable lake of fire.  The Lord will banish all of His enemies from His holy presence, and deliver the faithful from anything that threatens to harm or contaminate them in any way. 

Psalm 86:15 “But thou, O Lord, [art] a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.”   

God has not abandoned mankind in our sin and rebellion.  He is patient and longsuffering, yet mighty and powerful, and He longs for intimate fellowship with the human race.  He is waiting for just the right time to manifest His presence to the world.  It is critical that He intervene in our affairs before we totally self-destruct.  He will soon demonstrate His inimitable power and glory for all eyes to see. 

He will move through a people who are called by His holy name and sanctified in the truth.  We will preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ with power and conviction.  We will make salvation available to every man, woman and child in the critical days to come.  Miracles, signs and wonders will abound.  The Lord will get our full attention and offer us one last chance to be redeemed from all of our sinfulness.  

There is a point of no return that we are rapidly approaching that will change the fate of mankind for all of eternity.  All signs point to the indisputable fact that our God is preparing to show Himself strong, and bring a major shakeup to His creation.  He will eradicate all evil off the face of the earth and cleanse it of defilement, so that heaven itself can be brought here in the everlasting Kingdom of God.  

Jeremiah 29:11-13 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find [me], when ye shall search for me with all your heart.”   

Almighty God is unveiling Himself to mankind as never before.  He is showing us His face – His true nature of love, mercy and compassion.  He wants us to turn from the sin, evil and moral decadence that threaten to overtake us in these last days and step into the wonderful plans that He has for our future.  It is His heart’s desire to be in an intimate relationship with the entire human race as He originally intended from the creation itself.  The Lord wants to gather us into the everlasting Kingdom of God. 

Heaven itself is coming to this earth realm and we have to prepare ourselves to enter in.  We cannot look back to the declining world system that has miserably failed us and embrace our future at the same time.  Things have gone from bad to worse, and we require divine intervention if we are to prevail in the days to come.  If we have repented of all our sins and accepted Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior, we have a bright and promising future ahead of us that no man or devil will ever be able to steal. 

God’s people can look forward to eternal life with all of its many benefits.  We will have unlimited blessings and generous rewards.  The Lord will blot out all our memories of pain and suffering.  He will take vengeance on all our enemies and restore all that has been taken from us.  Peace and prosperity will be our lot.  Safety and security, health and longevity, joy and freedom are all part of what God has planned.  He will actually come and dwell with us, and we will never be separated from Him ever again. 

Introduction: 

Psalm 62:5-7 “My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation [is] from him.  He only [is] my rock and my salvation: [he is] my defence; I shall not be moved. In God [is] my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, [and] my refuge, [is] in God.” 

The world as we know it today has become an extremely hostile environment to both God and man.  Moral decadence and depravity of all sorts have interfered with all the good that the Lord originally intended for His people.  We have missed the mark and compromised our moral standards, to the point that we are on the brink of total destruction for our wicked ways.  We must get a grip and wake up before it is too late. 

We cannot succumb to the world system with all of its many snares that lead us into wickedness and evil.  That will only cause us to experience personal defeat and rob us of our blessings.  The world, as we know it, will soon pass away and be replaced with heaven on this earth for all those who are faithful.  If we are loving, righteous and obedient we will see God and dwell with Him for all of eternity as He intends for us. 

The Lord wants to manifest Himself to His people in these last days as never before.  His heart’s desire is to permanently reconcile with mankind and gather us to Himself in the everlasting Kingdom of God.  He has seen all the pain and suffering that we have endured and He wants to deliver us from it.  He is anxious to comfort and rescue us from the darkness and defilement that threaten to overtake us in these last days. 

He will soon reveal Himself in all of His power and glory and make His presence known to all of creation.  Our part is to prepare ourselves to meet Him.  We must abandon carnality and selfishness of the soul, and cleanse ourselves of all known sin.  God is holy and perfect and He expects us to sanctify ourselves, so that we can actually dwell with Him.  If we do our part, He is faithful to make good on all of His promises to us. 

2Corinthians 4:6 “For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to [give] the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.”   

There is a light at the end of the tunnel in the person of one Jesus Christ.  He is our only hope for total redemption from all of our iniquity and transgression.  Unless we repent from the heart and realize what He accomplished on our behalf, we are doomed.  God sent His only beloved Son to this earth realm to be the atonement for the sins of all mankind.  Christ suffered and died, so that we could be set free. 

He took on all of our sins, as if they were His very own, and then paid the penalty of death for them.  He served as our sacrificial substitute and redeemed us from the curse of the law.  Through Him we have inherited eternal life and we have hope and confidence for our future.  We need not be destroyed by our sin nature.  We are covered by His Blood and we can appropriate His perfect righteousness by faith. 

We have become brand new creatures in Christ.  We are no longer at enmity with almighty God, nor subject to His terrible wrath.  We have become His sons and daughters, joint-heirs with Jesus to all the promises of God.  We should embrace our divine destinies.  If we do, the Lord will imbue us with His very own power and authority, so that we can be His goodwill ambassadors to the rest of mankind. 

Psalm 84:11-12 “For the LORD God [is] a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good [thing] will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. O LORD of hosts, blessed [is] the man that trusteth in thee.”

Our Lord and Savior came so that we might have life in abundance to the overflow.  He wants to bless us and spend all of eternity with His people.  There is no good thing that He will ever withhold from us if we walk in His ways.  However, we must be obedient to do everything that God requests of us and cultivate a genuine love for Him and for others, so that we are worthy to enter into His holy presence. 

We will take up Christ’s ministry where He left off, and spread the Gospel as the Lord arranges our contacts.  We will make salvation available to every man, woman and child in every race, tongue and nation in this world.  We will baptize countless numbers in Jesus’ name and heal them of all afflictions.  The Lord will work through us to cast out demons and even raise the dead back to life again.  

The Kingdom of God will manifest right before our very eyes, even before Jesus Christ returns to us.  The Lord will have us establish peace, order and stability on this earth.  We will eliminate all wars, violence and conflict from our affairs.  We will eradicate all poverty and lack and destroy the yokes of bondage that keep men subject to the exploitation of others.  Social injustice will soon become a thing of the past. 

The people of God will restore all of nature to its original beauty and balance.  We will cleanse the earth of all its defilement and bring total harmony to all plants and animals.  We will even regulate the climate so that it is always temperate and predictable.  The adverse effects of all forms of pollution will be canceled.  There will be no more natural catastrophes that ever bring death and destruction in their wake. 

Almighty God will be pleased with us and usher heaven itself into this earth realm, so that we can be with Him for all of eternity.  He will supply all of our needs in abundance and boast of us to all of creation as His sons and daughtersis sons and daughters.  He will take vengeance on all of our enemies and deliver us from all evil.  We will bask in the Lord’s glory and enjoy peace and prosperity, health and longevity, joy and freedom.

Chapter 1 - Exalted Above All Creation

Revelation 4:11 “Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.”  

We have a great and awesome God who created all things in His inherent wisdom and might to give Himself pleasure and to provide Himself with companionship.  Both the heavens and the earth were manifested when He spoke light and life to them.  There is nothing that was made that He did not intend.  The entire universe resulted from His brilliant design and magnificent display of infinite power and glory.    

The cosmos reflects the Lord’s engineering ability and fathomless imagination.  Our earth is but a small speck of teeming life compared to the other planets and stars that exist ad infinitum.  From the birds in the air to the fish in the sea, everything here is both beautiful and functional.  All of nature serves as a dramatic work of art, and an extravagant display of God’s love for all things that are both wholesome and beneficial. 

Every living creature that is in existence today has a specific purpose.  Man was formed in God’s very own image and likeness to provide Him with intimate fellowship.  Plants and animals were designed to provide man with sustenance.  Without a doubt, the Lord had a master plan that outshines anything that we could ever devise as mere human beings.  All life forms are interconnected and intended to be self-perpetuating. 

There is a perfect blueprint in place for the entire creation that should not be tampered with, for fear of adverse results.  Almighty God has established specific rules and regulations, boundaries and limits, for a very practical reason.  He knows what is best for every creature and what is required to keep the universe running as it was designed.  His genius has both originated all living things and continues to support them.  

Isaiah 45:18 “For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I [am] the LORD; and [there is] none else.” 

Everything that exists is sustained by our awesome God.  He always makes certain that His handiwork is intact and all systems are operating efficiently.  However, man has grossly interfered with God’s plans and disturbed the perfect balance that should exist in our world.  In our greed and ignorance, we have upset the total equilibrium that He engineered by transgressing natural and spiritual laws that govern our existence.   

We have turned our back on our Creator and exalted the creation instead.  Man has exceeded his authority by attempting to take control of his own fate.  We have failed miserably in that area, and insulted our God in the process.  He desires to provide us with all good things, but we are insatiable and ungrateful.  Instead of being wise stewards of our environment, we have drained it of its valuable assets and left it damaged.  

Man was created to dwell in paradise for all time, but traded that privilege for a sentence to hard labor with his rebellion in the Garden of Eden.  Each of us has inherited the iniquity of our forefathers and we have a tendency to sin and transgression that has doomed us to continual failure over the past generations.  We have contaminated everything that we touch, and defiled all that is beautiful and wholesome in our world.  

We must defer to God’s infinite wisdom and learn to walk in His ways.  We cannot persist in doing our own thing and hope to see positive results in our lives.  We have to step back and objectively evaluate what we are doing.  We should seek almighty God and receive specific instruction from Him for all that we think, say and do.  He wants us to imitate Him so that we can be successful in everything that we pursue. 

This world was created to be inhabited by mankind for all time.  All that we need has been made available to us for our use.  There is absolutely no reason why there should be anyone who suffers lack.  This planet is rich in natural resources that are designed to sustain all forms of life indefinitely.  We must learn to share what we have with one another and protect and preserve all the beauty and bounty that we have been given.  

Romans 9:22 “[What] if God, willing to shew [his] wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,” 

However, human beings are proud and arrogant, stubborn and contentious, disobedient and ungrateful.  We hate one another without cause.  We compete for more power and material possessions, and introduce wars, violence and conflict to all of our affairs.  We initiate strife and division in our relationships and turn our backs on God.  We make idols of everything imaginable. We lie, steal and covet one another’s blessings. 

We have transgressed natural and spiritual laws and violated God’s trust in us as faithful stewards of our environment.  We inadvertently destroy the earth that we call “home” and show little regard for others.  We are wicked and evil, and we should be condemned for all of our disobedience.  However the Lord is extremely patient with us, ever merciful and compassionate to the human condition, despite our rebellion. 

He knows that we are steeped in sin and darkness, deceived by Satan, the very enemy of our souls.  He is revealing Himself to us, so that we will turn from our transgressions; overcome our foolish pride; and adopt His way of doing things as our own, before it is too late for us.  Almighty God will definitely get our attention, so we repent of our wickedness and evil and choose righteousness, love and obedience instead.   

Those who continue to defy our God and disobey His commandments will soon find themselves on the outside looking in when heaven comes to this earth.  The Lord will in no way tolerate destruction of any of His creation.  He will banish all wrongdoers in the wrath of His coming.  He will rectify all wrongs and show mercy and grace to those who repent of their ways and adopt His values and practices as their own. 

Psalm 145:8-12 “The LORD [is] gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.  The LORD [is] good to all: and his tender mercies [are] over all his works.  All thy works shall praise thee, O LORD; and thy saints shall bless thee. They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power; To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.”   

The Lord developed a brilliant plan to save all of mankind from destruction when Adam rebelled against Him in the Garden of Eden.  He purposed to send His very own Son to this world to take back all that we had lost.  Christ came to defeat the works of the devil and to redeem mankind from the curse.  He suffered and died, so that we would all have life in abundance to the overflow. 

We are fortunate to have grace with our God – His unmerited favor, mercy and compassion.  He overlooks a great many of our mistakes and always gives us the benefit of the doubt.  If we have believed in His Son, Jesus Christ, and all that He did for us, He sees us as being totally righteous.  We have inherited the gift of eternal life, and we are regarded as His very own sons and daughters. 

The Lord has determined to gather us to Himself for all of eternity, so that we can be in intimate fellowship with Him, as He originally intended.  He will soon bring heaven itself to this earth realm, so that we can be together for all time.  He expects us to cleanse ourselves of all defilement and be righteous and obedient to all that He tells us to do, so that we can dwell in His awesome presence.   

We must share our faith, so that others can be rescued from the darkness and destruction that threatens to take them out.  We must warn all of mankind of the impending judgment and challenge them to repent and be baptized in Jesus’ name.  There is no way that anyone can be saved from their sins without a sincere belief in our Lord and Savior and all He has accomplished on our behalf.   

Our God will ultimately be exalted before all of creation, and lavish us with His many blessings in the everlasting Kingdom of God.  We will dwell in paradise on this earth.  He will change our mortal bodies into glorious, resurrection forms and supply all we require to be healthy, happy and prosperous.  We will praise His holy name and worship Him in Spirit and in truth forever more.
 

Power And Glory In Creation 

Jeremiah 51:15-16 “He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heaven by his understanding.  When he uttereth [his] voice, [there is] a multitude of waters in the heavens; and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth: he maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures.”   

Almighty God created the entire universe with mere words and then breathed His Spirit into every living thing.  He simply spoke and everything came into being.  The cosmos, with all of its splendor, reflects His glorious handiwork.  The wind, rain, thunder and lightning demonstrate His awesome power in nature.  Man, plants and animals all showcase His infinite wisdom and special attention to detail. 

Everywhere we look we see tangible proof of the Lord’s inimitable power and glory manifested.  This universe is at once both simple and complex in its design.  All life forms are perfectly engineered to be self-perpetuating, yet are also mutually dependent upon one another.  There is a balance in nature that exists for a specific reason and purpose.  God loves beauty and He takes pride in His workmanship.  

He is not far off, separated and distant from His creation.  He sustains all life forms and cares about even the minutest details of their existence.  He grieves when any of His creatures suffer and rejoices when everything is in total equilibrium, as He originally ordained it to be.  Peace, order and stability prevail when God is in charge, and He expects mankind to be good stewards of all that He has designed. 

The heavens are the Lord’s, but the earth He has given to men.  We must preserve and protect all the wonders of this world and be conservative in the use of natural resources.  We cannot continue to greedily consume the bounty around us and cause pollution to the air, water and soil.  We have been given a sacred charge to renew, refresh and replenish this earth, so that heaven itself can be brought here.  

Psalm 148:1-6 “Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the LORD from the heavens: praise him in the heights.  Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts. Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light. Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that [be] above the heavens. Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created. He hath also stablished them for ever and ever: he hath made a decree which shall not pass.” 

All of nature sings God’s praises and reflects His power and glory.  He designed and sustains all life forms by His inherent wisdom and benevolence.  He is infinitely loving, merciful and compassionate to mankind, even though we may not deserve it.  He has a perfect plan in place for our future well-being.  It is His greatest desire to fellowship intimately with us, as He originally intended from the very beginning of time. 

The Lord plans on gathering His people to Himself in the everlasting Kingdom of God and residing with us here on this earth.  His perfect way of doing things will eventually prevail, so that all of creation is as it was originally designed to be.  This world as we know it will never end, as some suppose, but it will definitely be changed to line up with what God has predetermined.  It will literally be a paradise for all forms of life. 

Heaven itself is coming to the earth.  There will be no more defilement or contamination of this planet, nor greedy consumption of valuable, natural resources for personal gain.  The plants and animals will all be in perfect harmony with one another and subject to mankind, just as they once were in the Garden of Eden.  The climate will be regulated to be temperate and predictable, and all forms of pollution will be reversed. 

The Kingdom of God will be the answer to all of our prayers and the solution to all of our problems.  Almighty God will set matters straight in this world, and make certain that everything is restored to its original beauty and balance.  He created this universe for His pleasure, and He will not permit it to ever be destroyed.  He will ultimately vanquish all those who threaten the welfare of His masterful workmanship. 

1Chronicles 29:11 “Thine, O LORD, [is] the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all [that is] in the heaven and in the earth [is thine]; thine [is] the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.”  

Our God is able to do all things.  He has provided for all of our needs – both spiritual and temporal.  He even made a way for us to be redeemed from all of our sinfulness when we fell short of His glory thousands of years ago.  He sent His beloved Son to save all of mankind and to provide us with life in abundance.  There is no good thing that the Lord will ever withhold from His people who are called by His holy name. 

He will soon gather us to Himself in a literal paradise on this earth for all of eternity.  We will see heaven come here in the Kingdom of God.  Everything will be as it was originally intended from the foundation of the world.  We are returning to our beginnings.  Satan will be cast into the bottomless pit, and all forms of wickedness and evil will be abolished before our very eyes.  Nothing will ever harm or defile us ever again. 

The Lord will be exalted in all of His creation.  Both men and angels will give Him all the praise, gratitude and devotion that He deserves.  Our God will actually come and take up residence with us, as He promised us that He would.   He will take vengeance on all of our enemies and boast of us as His very own sons and daughters.   We will have peace and prosperity, health and longevity, safety and security, joy and freedom. 

The Kingdom of God will be a perfect environment for all those who love the Lord and respect the power of His might.  He will supply all our needs in abundance according to His riches in glory.  We will worship Him in Spirit and in truth, and celebrate all of His sabbaths and perpetual feast days with gladness in our hearts.  We will bask in His awesome presence and fellowship intimately with Him, as He always desired. 
 

His Eternal Power And Godhead 

Romans 1:20 “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, [even] his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:”    

Almighty God reflects His power and glory in everything that He says and does.  He is the eternal, triune Godhead – Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  He is capable of both creation and destruction.  He is all wise and all powerful.  He spoke and everything that exists was formed out of nothing.  He is an awesome deity and we should give Him all the deference and respect that He deserves. 

If we look closely at the creation, we can easily see the sheer genius of God demonstrated in all of its magnificence.  All things were designed by Him for His good pleasure and He sustains everything that was made to perfection.  Mankind is His masterpiece, yet we cannot take advantage of our position.  We have grace and favor with Him, but we also have boundaries and limits. 

We are without excuse.  There is no reason why we should exceed our authority and take advantage of the Lord’s generosity in blessing us with all good things.  We have no legitimate cause for our selfishness and greed.  There is an ample supply of everything that we need to sustain life made readily available to us.  The lust for more and more material things will simply consume us. 

If we are not careful we will alienate our God to the point that He lifts His hand of protection off of us and leaves us to our own devices.  We will destroy the earth and everyone in it through reckless behavior that violates God’s laws and transgresses His commands.  We must repent from the heart and change our ways before it is too late.  The Lord wants to rescue us from all that defiles. 

Psalm 124:8 “Our help [is] in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth.”   

Almighty God never purposed that there would be chaos and confusion in our world.  He meant for man to live in total peace, taking dominion over all of His creation.  When sin entered onto the scene in the Garden of Eden, man relinquished his control over the environment to Satan, the enemy of his soul.  The devil has been hard at work ever since, in an attempt to destroy all the good that the Lord has initiated. 

There is turmoil in the universe right now – none of which God ever intended.  Natural forces are simply responding to the horrific conflict of good vs. evil that is taking place in the spirit realm.  We feel the negative effects here on this earth in the form of tornadoes, hurricanes, floods and earthquakes.  They bring only death and destruction in their wake, but they are not a judgment sent from almighty God. 

They are a result of the adverse circumstances that are brought on us by the enemy.  They will eventually cease and desist, and all of nature will be at peace once again.  Almighty God will sovereignly move to protect the earth and everyone in it from the ravages of Satan.  He will banish him and all of  his minions to the bottomless pit, so that they will never bring any fear and torment on God’s people ever again. 

In the mean time, each of us has a critical choice to make.  Will we embrace righteousness and godliness as a way of life or will we take matters into our own hands and go to perdition?  We cannot be on the fence in any way.  Our future can be a bright one or we can be lost for all time.  The decisions that we make now have eternal ramifications and we must prayerfully consider everything that we think, say and do. 

Jeremiah 23:23-24 “[Am] I a God at hand, saith the LORD, and not a God afar off? Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD.”   

We must remember that all things are possible to God, and that by Him all things were created for our express benefit.  He wants us to have life in abundance, but we must adhere to His perfect standards or things will go awry, as they have in the past.  This universe thrives in its divinely ordained balance.  That is how it was designed, and we must preserve it if we wish to reap its blessings.  Our God sees everything and He will have to intervene if we transgress His natural and spiritual laws. 

It is important that we remember our place at all times and determine how we will conduct ourselves.  We have been given all things to freely enjoy, but that does not give us license to abuse our privileges and exceed the limits of our authority.  We must be godly role models for others and be faithful stewards of all that the Lord has given us, so we can positively impact the future of this earth. 

Mankind should be eternally grateful for all that we have and give glory and honor to our Creator.  He is an all powerful God that delights in our welfare.  He will never leave us or forsake us, despite our poor judgment and stubborn willfulness.  He will sovereignly move to correct the imbalance that currently exists, and re-establish peace, order and stability through the entire universe.  He will work through a people who are called by His holy name to finally set all matters straight.  

We will assume our roles as the sons and daughters of God so we can restore all of creation.  Plants and animals will soon be in total harmony once again and subject to man.  The climate will be temperate and predictable.  There will be no more natural catastrophes, nor harmful effects from pollution.  The earth will be cleansed of all its defilement and fully renovated to line up with God’s will.   
 

Manifestations of the Power And Glory  

Exodus 33:18-19 “And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory. And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy.”  

The Lord manifests His power and glory in tangible ways.  All of creation reflects His goodness and mercy.  He formed all living things for His pleasure and to demonstrate His good will.  Man was created in His very image and likeness so that He could fellowship intimately with us.  The Lord is not to be feared and dreaded.  It is His goodness that changes us, so that we can turn towards Him and freely receive all things. 

Our God wants nothing more than that mankind is reconciled to Him despite our former sin and rebellion.  He has made salvation available to one and all through the merits of the Blood of His beloved Son, Jesus Christ.  We have no reason to be estranged from our Creator any longer.  Redemption is accessible to all who will repent of their sin; call on the Lord’s name; and appropriate the righteousness of Jesus by faith. 

We have grace with God, unmerited favor in all that we think, say and do, once we are born again in our spirit man.  He does not impute our sins to us if we have made Christ the Lord of our lives.  He sees us as accepted in the beloved, His very own sons and daughters.  We are joint-heirs with Jesus to all the promises for righteousness, and seated with Him in heavenly places at the very right hand of almighty God Himself. 

The Lord will supply all of our needs according to His riches in glory.  He will not withhold any good thing from His people who are called by His holy name.  He will prosper us now and in the Kingdom to come for all of eternity.  He will imbue us with His very own anointing power and authority so we can take dominion over the entire earth.  We are His goodwill ambassadors who will rescue all of mankind from destruction. 

Zechariah 4:6 “… Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.” 

Almighty God manifests His power and glory through the people who are called by His holy name.  Once we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, our lives changes as never before.  We become new creatures in Him.  Our minds are renewed and our behavior is transformed until it becomes godly.  We can receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit of God so that we are strengthened in our spirit man.  We begin to develop the characteristics and attributes of God, to such an extent that we can become holy and perfect.

We gradually become loving, peaceful and joyous, and we go deeper in our worship of the Lord.  We are good and gentle in all of our dealings with others.  We exhibit meekness, temperance and longsuffering and our faith is strengthened.  We acquire divine power and authority to operate in the manifestations of the Holy Spirit.  We can discern spirits, prophesy, utter words of wisdom and words of knowledge to others.  We are gifted in areas that we may never have had experience before, but the Lord still equips us to handle. 

If we walk in the Spirit instead of our flesh, all things become possible to us.  We embrace our divine destinies and serve the Lord and His people with genuine zeal.  We are able to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ with true conviction and baptize countless numbers in His name.  We can heal the sick of all their afflictions; cast out demons that hold men in bondage to sin and evil; and even raise the dead back to life.  We will take back the earth for the Kingdom of God and destroy all demonic strongholds that oppose us. 

Psalm 29:1-4 “Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength. Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. The voice of the LORD [is] upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the LORD [is] upon many waters. The voice of the LORD [is] powerful; the voice of the LORD [is] full of majesty.” 

Almighty God always speaks to us, if we will only pay attention to His voice.  He has only our best interest at heart, and wants us to be loving, righteous and obedient, plus grateful for all that He has done for us.  The very same God who created the entire universe in all of His majesty and glory has the power to destroy anything and anyone that contaminates it.  He will not sit back and allow His creation to be defiled. 

The voice of God thunders throughout all the universe and whispers to man in the night season.  The Lord expects us to have a healthy reverence for Him and obey all that He commands us to do.  We cannot be reckless and irresponsible, wicked and rebellious, and hope to be blessed.  Our Creator has limits and boundaries for our behavior that He has established.  We would be wise to always heed His warnings. 

We are rapidly approaching the end of all things, as we know them.  We cannot slide into the Kingdom of almighty God merely based on good intentions.  We will soon be held accountable for all of our works in the flesh.  All men, and even angels, will be judged according to the Lord’s perfect, impeccable standards.  He will generously reward righteousness, and banish all wickedness and evil from His holy presence. 

Jeremiah 32:17 “Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, [and] there is nothing too hard for thee:” 

We must be righteous in God’s eyes through faith in all that His Son, Jesus Christ did for us.  We should, additionally, walk in love at all times, regardless of the provocation to do otherwise.  We should obey all that the Lord asks us to do and embrace our divine destinies in preaching the Gospel, so that others can be redeemed to eternal life just as we have been.  

Our God is well able to strengthen us in the power of His might, so that we can serve Him and His people with joy and enthusiasm.  He will equip us to walk in the supernatural realm and to operate just as Jesus did during His earthly ministry.  We will heal the sick of all their diseases, cast out demons that hold men in bondage, and even raise the dead back to life. 

It is critical that we teach all men to obey God’s commandments.  It is equally important that they learn to be grateful for all of their blessings and become accountable for their behavior.  Strife and division, greed and lust for power, pride and arrogance should not even be named among us.  We have privileges as the children of God together with responsibilities. 

While the Lord is eminently loving, kind and merciful to the human condition, He will not ever tolerate deliberate defiance in any of us.  He will punish all the evildoers and wipe them off the face of the earth in the wrath of His coming.  We should adopt His ways as our very own, so that things can go well for us now and in the Kingdom to come for all of eternity.
 

Power And Glory In Action 

Hebrews 12:25-26 “See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more [shall not] we [escape], if we turn away from him that [speaketh] from heaven: Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.” 

What happens on this earth closely mirrors what is going on in the heavenlies.  There is a huge, spiritual battle between good and evil that is currently being waged.  The Lord permits fallout on this planet to get His people’s attention.  The enemy is hard at work in an attempt to steal, kill and destroy all that is good.  He knows that his time is short and that his power is waning. 

Heavenly hosts of angels and archangels are combating his efforts as never before, and all of creation is waiting for the revealing of the sons of God to set it at liberty.  The Lord is shaking up His people to get them to rise up in their God-given power and authority to reclaim the earth and everything in it.  We have divine destinies that must be fulfilled before Christ returns. 

We are kings and priests of God in training for reigning, and we must do the work that Jesus Himself did, so that His ministry can be completed.  We should preach the Gospel of the Kingdom of God with fervor and make salvation to eternal life available to all of mankind.  We must also take control over our natural environment, so that peace, order and stability are reinstated. 

2Chronicles 20:6 “And said, O LORD God of our fathers, [art] not thou God in heaven? and rulest [not] thou over all the kingdoms of the heathen? and in thine hand [is there not] power and might, so that none is able to withstand thee?” 

The Lord will move through a people who are called by His holy name in these last days.  If we are surrendered to His will and sanctified totally and completely, He will imbue us with His very own power and authority to act in His stead.  If we are consecrated and dedicated to His purpose, we will accomplish great feats and operate in miracles, signs and wonders.   

We are the Body of Christ Himself – His hands, feet and voice on the earth.  We serve as a beacon of light to those who are still lost in darkness and deception.  We will set the captives free of all their bondage to sin and evil and take back the entire planet for our Lord and Savior.  We will bind the enemy, cast him out and loose multiple blessings for the entire human race. 

It is critical that we combat the devil and all of his attempts to deter our work or impede our progress in the name of Jesus Christ.  Satan does not want the Kingdom of God to manifest on this earth.  He realizes that he is already a defeated foe and that we have been given power over him to destroy all demonic strongholds in this world.  However, he will not acquiesce willingly. 

The people of God will have to be vigilant and obey all that the Lord asks us to do in the critical days that lie ahead.  We should take our roles in the Lord’s eternal redemption plan very seriously.  We have divine destinies that must be fulfilled or important work will remain undone.   We will overcome all satanic efforts by the Blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony. 

Psalm 62:11-12 “God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power [belongeth] unto God.   Also unto thee, O Lord, [belongeth] mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work.”  

If we are faithful to do all that the Lord asks of us, we will see heaven brought to this earth in record time.  Almighty God will generously reward us for all of our efforts on His behalf and actually come and take up residence with His people.  He will take vengeance on all of our enemies and vindicate us before both men and angels.  He will banish Satan to the abyss and cast all evildoers into the lake of fire. 

The righteous will dwell in a literal paradise, while the wicked will be remembered no more.  All the nations of the world will be evaluated to see if they will survive the wrath of God.  Even the dead will be raised back to life again to stand judgment with the rest of us.  No living creature will escape the Lord’s scrutiny, nor be able to persuade Him to lower any of His perfect, impeccable standards. 

Our heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, will be exalted in all of the creation.  We will worship them in Spirit and in truth and celebrate all of their sabbaths and perpetual feast days with joy and gladness in our hearts.  Both men and angels will give God all the praise, honor and glory that He so richly deserves.

The Lord will be pleased with us and boast of us as His sons and daughters forever more.
 

An Omnipotent God 

Nahum 1:2-3 “God [is] jealous, and the LORD revengeth; the LORD revengeth, and [is] furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth [wrath] for his enemies. The LORD [is] slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit [the wicked]: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds [are] the dust of his feet.” 

The Lord reserves His wrath for the children of disobedience and for Satan himself.  He will sovereignly move to correct the present imbalance that occurs today.  He will take vengeance on all of His enemies and smite them with His powerful right hand.  He is a jealous God and He will not ever permit His people to continue to be harmed or contaminated in any way. 

The Day of the Lord will come suddenly like “a thief in the night.”  Almighty God will show Himself strong on our behalf.  He will totally obliterate all wickedness and evil off the face of the earth, and cast the devil and all of his minions into the bottomless pit.  All wrongdoers will be judged and condemned to never ending punishment in the unquenchable lake of fire. 

Our God plans on taking up residence with His people on this earth in His everlasting Kingdom.  However, He will tolerate no sin and rebellion is His holy presence.  Anything that defiles either God or man will be totally eradicated.  Jesus Christ will rule and reign with a rod of iron to make certain that no evil ever enters into His Kingdom to disturb its peace and tranquility. 

Isaiah 13:11 “And I will punish the world for [their] evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.”   

The Lord has been infinitely patient with us, but very soon now He will take a stand against all of the lawlessness that currently prevails on this earth.  He will tolerate no sin and rebellion in any of His creatures any longer.  He will cast Satan into the bottomless pit and smite all sinners in His fierce anger.  This world will not end, but it will be drastically changed. 

We have had ample warning about what is to come.  The Lord has manifested Himself in nature and spoken through His prophets.  His very own sons and daughters have gone to the nations to offer them salvation to eternal life.  Wicked, lawless men and angels have steadfastly rejected God’s overtures, and He has no choice but to remove them from His holy presence. 

All evidence points to the second coming of Christ.  There are signs and wonders in all of creation that herald His return.  The Lord is about to display a tremendous might that will change the configuration and appearance of the entire universe.  All of creation will be positively impacted on the Day of the Lord.  Our God will show Himself strong and display His eternal glory. 

Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ will soon return as the King of kings and Lord of lords.  However, He will not come as a meek and mild Lamb of God this time.  He has vengeance in His heart to destroy all of His enemies.  He will abolish all wickedness and evil and enforce His judgment in the government of God.  All knees will have to bow to Him and glorify His holy name. 

Jeremiah 10:10 “But the LORD [is] the true God, he [is] the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation.”  

We are rapidly approaching the point of no return.  We cannot afford to flirt with sin and evil any longer.  We will have to make the all-important choice to repent of our sins and accept Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior or be destroyed in our very own ignorance and rebellion.  The Lord will not permit any of His creation to be defiled or contaminated any longer. 

The nations of this world will all be judged to see if they have been righteous and obedient.  All of their rulers will be held accountable for their dealings with God’s people.  Every knee will bow and every tongue proclaim that “Jesus Christ is Lord.”  He will be exalted among the heathen and believers alike.  He will be our righteous King and benevolent leader forever more. 

The earth will be shaken to the foundation, and men will tremble for fear of what is coming on them.  The righteous will be spared God’s wrath, but the wicked will go to perdition.  The devil and his minions will be cast into the bottomless pit, so that they can no longer oppress God’s people.  All wrongdoers will be permanently banished to the unquenchable lake of fire. 

Only those who are righteous, loving and obedient will ever enter into the Kingdom of God.  The Lord will boast of us to all of creation as His sons and daughters and gather us to Himself.  He will change our mortal bodies into new, glorious, resurrection forms that never die, and supply all of our needs in abundance.  We will actually dwell with Him and thrive in His presence.   

Psalm 102:15 “So the heathen shall fear the name of the LORD, and all the kings of the earth thy glory.”  

The Lord will not permit anyone or anything to destroy the earth or the people who are called by His holy name.  He will sovereignly move to settle all scores and level all playing fields.  The meek will inherit the earth, not the wicked and imperious.  Those who are first now will soon be last, and the least among us will be exalted when heaven itself is brought to the earth.   

The entire universe will be restructured according to the Lord’s perfect plan.  There will no longer be death and disease to torment us.  All wars, violence and conflict will cease.  Poverty and lack will be abolished.  There will be no more social injustice.  All men will be treated with fairness, dignity and respect.  The Lord will supply all of our needs even before we ask Him. 

Our heavenly Father will boast of us to all of creation as His beloved sons and daughters.  If we have been faithful to serve Him and His people, we will share in Christ’s very own honor and glory.  We will judge both men and angels and even be appointed kings and priests of almighty God.  He will give us the heathen for our inheritance in the uttermost parts of the earth. 

Jesus Christ will serve as a righteous King over all the nations of the world.  He will rule and reign with a rod of iron to make certain that we are always safe and secure.  Nothing that defiles God or man will ever be permitted to enter into His everlasting Kingdom.  We will have peace and prosperity, health and longevity, joy and freedom in His awesome presence. 

Glorified To The Nations 

1 Chronicles 16:28-31 “Give unto the LORD, ye kindreds of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength. Give unto the LORD the glory [due] unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. Fear before him, all the earth: the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved. Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice: and let [men] say among the nations, The LORD reigneth.” 

Our Lord and Savior will be glorified to all of the nations for all of eternity.  He will rule and reign as a righteous King and benefactor to all of God’s people.  He will provide all of our needs in abundance even before we ask Him.  There is no good thing – spiritual or temporal – that He will ever withhold from us.  Almighty God will show Himself strong on our behalf. 

He will fellowship with us, as He always desired, and we will be the people who are called by His name.  There will no longer be any chaos and confusion in our lives.  No death or destruction will torment us ever again.  All of creation will be peaceful, orderly and stable, as it was originally intended to be.  Men will all be righteous and dwell together as brothers and sisters. 

The Kingdom of God will be paradise on this earth.  Both men and angels will continually worship the Lord in Spirit and in truth, as He desires.  We will celebrate all of His sabbaths and perpetual feast days with joy and gladness in our hearts.  We will go up to the New Jerusalem and visit Him on His holy mountain.  We will give Him all thanks, praise and glory. 

Jeremiah 4:2 “And thou shalt swear, The LORD liveth, in truth, in judgment, and in righteousness; and the nations shall bless themselves in him, and in him shall they glory.” 

Our God is alive and well, and still very much in control over His creation.  He supplies all that we need to be healthy, happy and prosperous.  He will soon demonstrate His unfailing love, mercy and compassion to the righteous remnant from all of the nations of the world.  He is our provider and our protector, our total source for all good things, and He will never leave us or forsake us. 

The Lord will manifest Himself to all of creation as a loving Father.  All of mankind will be blessed because of Him.  He will wipe away all of our tears and heal all of our pain and suffering.  He will defend us against all of our adversaries and recompense us for anything that we have lost or had stolen.  Our God is righteous and just and He will ultimately level all playing fields. 

There will be no more strife and division, exploitation or injustice, poverty and lack anywhere on this earth.  He will make certain that His people have never ending peace.  We should be eminently grateful and thank Him for all His efforts on our behalf.  The Lord is worthy of all our praise, honor and glory.  His name is above every other name and He should be exalted for all of eternity. 

Psalm 72:17-19 “His name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and [men] shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed. Blessed [be] the LORD God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things. And blessed [be] his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled [with] his glory; Amen, and Amen.”   

Our God is an awesome God; He reigns over heaven and earth with wisdom, power and love.  His glory is above all and His name should be magnified by both men and angels.  The Lord is the source of all of our blessings.  In Him, we have all that we need, even before we ask Him.  He is ever faithful to share all the vast resources of the universe with His people. 

He works miracles on our behalf and upholds us with His right hand of power.  He is ever faithful to protect us from all harm.  He will deliver us from all of our adversaries and vindicate all wrongs done to us.  He will change our mortal bodies to be like Christ’s very own, so that we live forever in good health and vitality to see our offspring for all generations. 

There is no good thing that our God will ever withhold from us.  The Lord will make certain that we are peaceful and prosperous, safe and secure, free and joyful for all eternity.  His Kingdom will last forever and He will be worshipped by both men and angels.  The entire earth will be filled with His glory, as we all celebrate His sabbaths and perpetual feast days.
 

The Earth Will Be Filled With His Glory 

Psalm 108:3 “I will praise thee, O LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations. For thy mercy [is] great above the heavens: and thy truth [reacheth] unto the clouds. Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth;” 

There is nothing that can compare with the magnificence of our God as evidenced in His creation.  He is all powerful and yet He pays attention to the smallest details.  He has formed our entire universe out of nothing and sustains all living things through His infinite wisdom and strength.  All of nature displays His handiwork and showcases His engineering prowess.  Nothing is too difficult for Him.   

It is impossible for us to deny that there was a creative genius at work in forming both the heavens and the earth.  Surely nothing happened by accident.  Intelligent design is more than a speculative theory; it is a concrete fact.  The cosmos is so intricately configured and perfectly balanced that it could only be a master designer of the highest caliber who would be capable of such brilliant workmanship. 

Almighty God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.  He always was and always will be the one and only prime mover and source of all life.  He will demonstrate His majesty up close and personal in the days to come.  He wants to manifest His awesome glory on this earth, as it is in heaven.  The Lord is actually planning to take up residence with His people and dwell in our midst for all of eternity. 

But first, He will rid the planet of all defilement.  Wickedness and evil of all types will be eradicated.  The Lord will sovereignly move to rectify all wrongs and correct all the imbalance that exists.  He will work through His people who are called by His name and take back the entire earth and restore it to its original beauty and balance.  Nothing will remain the same; He will make all things new again. 

Revelation 19:1 “And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God:” 

The Lord will gather all of the righteous to Himself, as He planned from the very foundation of the world.  There will never be a separation between God and man ever again.  He will provide all of our needs and protect us from all harm as He has promised.  Jesus Christ will change our bodies into new, glorious, resurrection forms that never get sick and die. 

Heaven itself is soon coming to this earth and all things will be made new.  There will be no more pain and suffering, no disease and death.  Poverty and lack will be things of the past.  Wars, violence and conflict will not even be named among us.  All men will be righteous and dwell together as brothers and sisters or be banished to the unquenchable lake of fire. 

Jesus Christ will rule and reign as a righteous King with a rod of iron.  No evil or defilement will ever come near His people.  He will enforce godly principles of righteousness, fairness and justice in the government of almighty God on this earth.  All the nations will give Him thanks and praise.  We will worship our God in Spirit and in truth, as He has always desired.

Numbers 14:21 “But [as] truly [as] I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the LORD.” 

The Kingdom of God will be heaven on the earth, a literal paradise, for both God and man.  We are returning to our roots in the Garden of Eden with no downside at all.  The Lord will fellowship intimately with His people who are called by His holy name.  We will have all of our needs met in abundance even before we ask Him.  There is no good thing that our God will ever withhold from us.  It is His intent to lavish us with eternal blessings beyond what we could ever ask or think. 

All of creation will be beautiful and bountiful.  There will be no more natural disasters, no more pollution to defile our environment in any way.  Plants and animals will be in total harmony and subject to man once again.  We will share in all the vast resources of the universe that are at our disposal.  We will grow crops for our food and dwell in peaceful habitations for all of eternity.  We will all be healthy and vigorous to see our children and our children’s children for all the many generations to come. 

The entire universe will be peaceful, stable and orderly.  There will be no more chaos and confusion, no death and destruction anywhere.  The absence of all evil guarantees that men and angels will dwell in perfect tranquility together, as God intends for us.  The Lord will actually come and tabernacle with His people and reside on His holy mountain outside the New Jerusalem.  We will celebrate all of His sabbaths and feast days with joy and gladness and give Him thanks, praise and honor.
 

A Glorious Kingdom On The Earth 

Isaiah 60:19-21 “The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the LORD shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory. Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the LORD shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended. Thy people also [shall be] all righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.”   

Everything will change and be made new in the everlasting Kingdom of God.  The glory of the Lord Himself will light up the entire universe.  The sun will no longer shine by day, nor the moon by night.  The Kingdom will be heaven on the earth – perfect in every way.  It will be beautiful and serene, lush and bountiful.  We will dwell in a paradise forever more. 

Christ will change these mortal bodies into new, glorious resurrection forms that are like His very own.  We will no longer have to deal with disease and death.  He will meet all of our needs in abundance, even before we ask Him.  There is no good thing that we will ever lack.  We will have peace and prosperity, health and longevity, joy and freedom in His holy presence. 

The Lord will blot out all of our pain and suffering from our memories and give us a just recompense for all that we have lost or had stolen from us over the years.  He will protect us from all harm and punish all of our enemies.  Satan will be bound in the abyss and all wrongdoers will be cast into the eternal lake of fire.

There will be nothing that defiles our lives ever again. 

Jesus Christ will rule and reign over all of the nations of the world.  He will share His very own honor and glory with those who have been faithful to serve Him and His people.  We will be appointed kings and priests of God and judge both men and angels.  All of mankind will learn to be righteous and holy, and dwell together as brothers and sisters in love, peace and unity.

1Chronicles 29:11-12 “Thine, O LORD, [is] the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all [that is] in the heaven and in the earth [is thine]; thine [is] the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.  Both riches and honour [come] of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand [is] power and might; and in thine hand [it is] to make great, and to give strength unto all.” 

Soon every knee will bow and every tongue proclaim that “Jesus Christ is Lord over all of creation.”  He will be a righteous King and a generous benefactor to His people.  He will provide all that we need to be healthy, happy and prosperous.  He will protect us from all harm and enforce godly principles of fairness, equality and justice, on earth as it is in heaven. 

The Kingdom of God will last forever and be the consummation of the Lord’s eternal redemption plan for His people.  Our heavenly Father will literally come and reside with us, as He has always desired.  He will boast of us to all creation as His very own sons and daughters.  Both men and angels will give Him all the praise, honor and gratitude that He so deserves. 

We will live in His holy presence and revel in all that He has planned for us.  The entire creation will be as it was originally intended to be from the very beginning of time. Man will have dominion over the plants and animals, as we once did in the Garden of Eden.  We will build beautiful homes for our large families and dwell in peaceful habitations for all eternity. 

Revelation 21:1-4 “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.  And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God [is] with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, [and be] their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”  

The Lord will reside on His holy mountain outside the New Jerusalem and be in an intimate relationship with His people.  He will take an active interest in all the details of our lives.  No need – spiritual or temporal – will go unmet.  Our God will make certain that we have peace and prosperity, safety and security, health and longevity, joy and freedom forever more. 

The glory of the Lord will light up His entire Kingdom.  Jesus Christ will rule and reign as a righteous King and make certain that His people are free from all harm.  Nothing will ever defile our lives ever again.  Life in the everlasting Kingdom of God will be idyllic, the perfect habitat for both God and man.  The Lord will ensure that nothing ever disturbs our peace and serenity. 

We will dwell together as brothers and sisters and see our offspring for all generations to come.  All of creation will be at rest and subject to us as its caretakers.  There will be no more predatory activities or natural catastrophes ever again.  No death and destruction will cause us any pain and suffering.  We will thrive for all eternity and experience days of heaven on the earth. 

The Lord is taking us back to our beginnings in paradise.  He will be praised and exalted for all that He has done for His people.  We will worship Him in Spirit and in truth, and communicate with Him personally.  There will never be a separation between God and mankind ever again.  We will celebrate all His sabbaths and perpetual feast days with joy and gladness in our hearts. 

Chapter 2 - The Power and Glory Of Jesus Christ 

John 1:14 “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”  

Almighty God had a perfect plan in place from the very beginning of time.  Jesus Christ is the Word of God who was present with the Father from the creation itself.  By Him all things were made.  He had a vision of life in all its various forms and then spoke powerful words, so that everything materialized from nothing. The entire universe came into being because Jesus both imagined and verbalized it. 

The Lord saw everything that He had made and it was good.  It wasn’t until man was created that things went awry.  Our ancestors were formed in God’s very own image and likeness to dwell in paradise for all of eternity, but they had a flawed human nature that was susceptible to temptation and sin.  The devil persuaded the first man and woman to rebel against God and challenge His authority. 

Our Creator had no choice but to banish Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden and sentence them to spiritual and physical death for their transgression.  From that point on, man has been estranged from his God and without hope for his future.  Both man and God have suffered from the effects of sin.  The Lord lost the intimate fellowship that He desires and man lost his right standing with God. 

There was only one solution possible to rectify this impasse.  God had to intervene on our behalf and somehow satisfy the death penalty for all mankind.  The Lord sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to this earth realm to redeem us from all of our sins and to restore us to righteousness once again.  Jesus was the Word of God incarnate – the perfect Lamb of God – who served as our sacrificial substitute. 

Hebrews 2:9 “But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.” 

When Jesus Christ came down to this earth, He laid down all of His deity and was born one of us.  He was human in every way, yet sinless and perfect in every respect.  He emptied Himself of all privilege and power as almighty God and dwelt among us as a mere man for over thirty years.  He endured tests, trials and temptations, just as we do, yet He never transgressed any of God’s laws. 

It was only when Jesus was baptized by John in the River Jordan that He became empowered with the Holy Spirit of God and was able to perform miracles on our behalf.  From that point onward, He healed the sick, cast out demons and even raised the dead back to life once again.  He destroyed the works of the devil by preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom of God to all men, women and children. 

When His earthly ministry was complete, our Lord and Savior laid down His very own life, so that we could be set free vicariously from the penalty of death for our sins.  He suffered, died and was buried so that all of mankind could inherit eternal life.  He rose again from the dead as the firstborn of many sons and daughters, and He is seated in power and glory at the right hand of the Father. 

Christ will come to the earth realm again in the very near future.  However, He will not return as a meek and mild Lamb of God this time.  He has vengeance in His heart to destroy all of His enemies and He will smite them in the wrath of His coming.  All wickedness and evil will ultimately be banished from this world and the everlasting Kingdom of almighty God will be free of defilement. 

2Corinthians 4:6 “For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to [give] the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.”

The very same God, who commanded light to shine in the darkness and created the entire universe, has shined in our hearts to give light and revelation of who Jesus Christ is and what He did for all of mankind.  If we believe that He was indeed the Son of God who came to this earth to redeem us of all of our sins, and confess Him as our personal Lord and Savior, we will be saved to eternal life. 

There is no power in hell that can keep us from having a personal relationship with almighty God now.  Jesus destroyed the works of the devil for all time.  He is a defeated foe and we can overcome him by the Blood of the Lamb and the words of our testimony.  We can rule and reign in this life and in the Kingdom to come through our faith in Christ and all that He accomplished on our behalf. 

Our God did not forsake us in our rebellion.  He had a plan in place from the very beginning of time.  He knew that we would sin and fall short of His glory, but there was no way that He would permit us to go to perdition.  God so loved mankind that He gave His only Son for our express benefit.  Although it pained the Lord to watch Jesus suffer, He knew it would result in all consuming glory. 

The resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead was almighty God’s single greatest accomplishment since the creation itself.  His awesome power manifested for the good of all mankind.  Had Jesus simply gone to the grave and remained there, we would all still be relegated to physical and spiritual death for our sins. However, since He has been raised to eternal life, we can join Him in paradise. 

1John 4:2-3 “Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that [spirit] of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.”  

There is no compromise possible when it comes to our faith.  We must either believe the truth to be set free or perish in our ignorance and rebellion for all of eternity.  Almighty God had a perfect plan in place for our redemption, but it involved a huge sacrifice on His behalf.  He sent His only beloved Son to this world to save us from our transgressions and teach us His way of doing things. 

We must believe that Jesus Christ was indeed the Son of God made man for our express benefit.  He came to this earth in human form to take on all of the sins of mankind and to defeat the works of the devil.  He suffered, died and was buried, so that we could inherit the gift of eternal life.  On the third day, He rose again from the dead as the firstborn of many sons and daughters of God. 

If we deny the truth and refuse so great a salvation, we have an anti-Christ spirit that will eventually lead to our downfall.  None of us can be righteous in our own strength.  Unless we believe in the Son of God and appropriate His righteousness by faith, we will die in our sinfulness.  There is no middle ground possible.  Our redemption is strictly contingent on our willingness to accept the truth. 

There is no way to the Father except through the cross of Jesus Christ.  If we repent of our sins and confess Him as our personal Lord and Savior we will be saved.  Our right standing with almighty God is then restored and we become joint-heirs to all of His promises.  Once we are born again in our spirits, we are seated with Christ in heavenly places at the very right hand of God Himself.
 

Power And Glory Incarnate 

2Peter 1:16-17 “For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty. For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

Almighty God had no other recourse but to sovereignly move to save mankind from all their transgressions after the fall of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden.  All of us were doomed to spiritual and physical death as a result of their rebellion.  While it may be difficult for us to grasp that Jesus was the Word of God Himself made flesh for our express benefit, it is the precise truth that will set us free.   

Jesus Christ laid down His deity when He came to this world in human form and was born one of us.  He experienced everything that we do, including the temptation to sin.  However, He was perfect in all His ways and totally obedient to the Father at all times.  When Jesus was baptized by John in the Jordan River, almighty God affirmed Him as His beloved Son and He commenced His earthly ministry. 

Christ was imbued with divine power and authority to defeat the works of the devil by the operation of the Holy Spirit of God Himself.  He proceeded to teach us God’s ways and to work miracles, signs and wonders to alleviate our pain and suffering.  Jesus preached the good news of the Kingdom of God and urged all men, women and children to repent of their sins and be baptized to eternal life.   

Even though He knew no sin Himself, Jesus Christ became sin for us, so that He could pay the penalty of death for the sins of all of mankind once and for all.  He suffered, died and was buried as our sacrificial substitute, so that we would not have to endure the same fate.  Because of His perfect obedience unto death, we are released from the curse of the law and we receive life in abundance to the overflow. 

Luke 4:18-19 “The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.”   

The Spirit of almighty God rested on Jesus during His earthly ministry, to the point that He was anointed with divine power and authority to preach the Gospel of the Kingdom of God with real conviction.  He healed the sick of all their afflictions and made them whole again.  He cast out demons that held men in bondage to sin and evil and even raised the dead back to life.   

Jesus could read men’s thoughts and perceive their heart’s intentions.  He transported Himself and His disciples through the power of the Holy Spirit and even spoke to nature to quiet the wind and the waves.  He worked miracles of multiplication with the wine, loaves and fishes.  Jesus was always willing and obedient to do everything that our heavenly Father asked of Him. 

He exceeded the Lord’s expectations of Him in every way, and even went willingly to the cross on our behalf.  Christ took on all our sins, as if they were His own, and suffered betrayal, humiliation, torture and death just for us.  He experienced a temporary separation from His Father during His agonizing ordeal, so that we could be redeemed from all of our sins to eternal life. 

Jesus spent three days in the grave and even descended into hell, so that He could defeat all powers and principalities and make an open show of them.  He took back our dominion over the earth and shared it with those who believe in Him.  He then rose again from the dead through the power of the Holy Spirit, so that all mankind could be victorious over sin, death and the grave. 

Matthew 28:18 “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.” 

Christ’s resurrection power extends far beyond the grave and enables us to live life in abundance to the overflow.  If we believe in Him and the power of the cross to redeem us from all sinfulness, we can be strengthened in our spirit man so that we can walk in His footsteps.  We must imitate His laid down life and resume His ministry where He left off.  We can prevail in all things, just as Christ did. 

Although it might appear that His life on this earth was a failure, Jesus overcame all demonic powers and principalities.  He made an open show of Satan to all creation when He died and rose again from the dead.  The devil was stripped of his ability to oppress mankind and hold them in bondage any longer.  He is a defeated foe and we now have our dominion over all things on this earth restored to us. 

If we are sincere believers in the Lord, Jesus Christ, and all that He accomplished on our behalf, we share in His divine power and authority to rule and reign on this earth.  We are joint-heirs with Jesus to all the promises of God.  Righteousness is no longer an issue for us.  We are seated with Christ in heavenly places at the right hand of God Himself.  We can approach the throne of grace with confidence. 

There is no good thing that the Lord will ever withhold from us.  He will meet all of our needs, both spiritual and temporal, in abundance, and answer all of our prayers.  We have become heirs to salvation and all of its many benefits.  The everlasting Kingdom of God will be our eternal legacy for our righteousness and obedience.  Very soon now, Jesus Christ will gather us to Himself for all of eternity. 

Jude 1:24-25 “Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present [you] faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,  To the only wise God our Saviour, [be] glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.”   

We now have a bright and promising future.  The Lord has great plans in store for us as His followers on this earth.  We have divine destinies to embrace that will impact the fate of all mankind.  We will resume Christ’s ministry on this earth and usher in the everlasting Kingdom of almighty God.  Nothing will be impossible for us.  The Lord will imbue us with a full anointing of His very own power. 

Very soon now we will do the works that Jesus did and even greater works, since He has gone to be with His Father and sent us the Holy Spirit.  We will preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ with power and authority and heal the sick of all their diseases.  The blind will see; the deaf will hear; and the lame will walk.  We will set others free from their bondage to sin and evil, and even raise the dead back to life. 

The Lord will protect us from all evil and preserve us blameless until the return of Christ.  He will give His angels charge over us to assist us in all that we do on His behalf.  We will serve our God and His people with genuine love, mercy and compassion and demonstrate God’s power to all those who dwell on this earth.  The Lord will be glorified in His sons and daughters and boast of us to all creation.
 

The Power Of The Gospel 

Luke 4:32 “And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his word was with power.”   

Jesus came to this earth to save us from all of our sins and to show us God’s way of doing things.  Teaching was a huge part of His ministry.  He preached the coming of the Kingdom of God and urged us to repent of all our sins, so that mankind would no longer walk in darkness and deception and be subject to bondage of any kind.  He wanted to prepare us for eternal life with all of its many benefits. 

Our Lord and Savior had wisdom beyond mere human comprehension, and astounded people wherever He went.  He only spoke what He actually heard from His Father and willingly did all that He was directed to do.  He gave people advice about spiritual and temporal matters and urged them to trust in their Creator to meet all of their needs.  He taught love of God and love of neighbor as a basic premise. 

Christ did not negate any aspect of the law; He came to fulfill it in its entirety by His very own example.  He urged all men to be righteous, loving and obedient, so that things would go well with them.  He stressed obedience and respect to those in authority, and insisted on generosity to those in need.  He encouraged peace with all men, wherever possible, and promoted unity among His followers. 

Jesus always preached with a degree of power and authority that captivated and made an impression on His audience.  Men knew that they had heard from almighty God whenever He spoke.  His words changed lives and impacted all of mankind.  His listeners never came away from His teaching the same as they had been before they heard Him.  The anointing that operated through Christ deeply touched them. 

John 3:5-6 “Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and [of] the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.” 

Jesus Christ urged all of His disciples to be born again of water and the Holy Spirit.  He encouraged baptism for the forgiveness of their sins and stressed love and obedience to all those whom He met.  He recommended that men lay down all of their carnality and selfish soul ambitions and follow after Him. 

He knew that they would have to learn to imitate His ways and follow all of His guidance and direction. 

Our Lord and Savior had a loyal and devoted following, and He launched many of His disciples into public ministry while He still walked among us.  They worked mighty exploits in His name by the power of the Holy Spirit.  They preached the good news of the Kingdom of God, healed the sick and cast out demons.  Christ’s efforts on this earth were multiplied exponentially whenever He dispatched others in His authority. 

So it is with us today; if we are sincere believers, we are the Body of Christ on this earth – His hands, feet and voice.  We serve as His ambassadors for the Kingdom of God and deliver men, women, and even children, from their bondage to sin and evil.  We preach the Gospel and baptize countless numbers to our faith.  We make eternal life available to all those who are receptive to it and impact the fate of all mankind. 

Matthew 4:16-17 “The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up. From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” 

The Gospel of Jesus Christ has the inherent ability to set men free and release abundant life to them.  Jesus did not come to this earth to condemn us, but to save all of mankind.  He was our perfect role model for righteousness and godliness and served as our sacrificial substitute.  He, who knew no sin, became sin for us so that we could inherit eternal life with all of its blessings. 

Our Lord and Savior emphasized repentance from all of our sins and the renewal of our minds in the truth.  He wanted men to put their carnality aside and walk in true spirituality as new creatures.  He taught love, obedience and holiness to all those He met and set them free from all of their oppression.  Christ had a destiny to redeem mankind from spiritual and physical death. 

Jesus was the light who came into this world to dispel the darkness.  He destroyed the works of the devil, so that we could be set free from bondage to sin and evil.  He preached the coming of the Kingdom of God in real power and authority, and made men eager for its appearance.  He promised that our heavenly Father would actually come and dwell with His people for all eternity. 

Christ never led His followers astray.  He clearly outlined all that was expected of them.  He fostered peace and unity among His disciples and forewarned them of all that was to come.  They always knew where they stood with Jesus, and He made certain that they felt His love and compassion.  The Lord was an excellent leader and those who walked in His ways were blessed as a result.
 

Healing Power 

Acts 10:38 “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.”  

It is important to remember that Jesus could work no significant miracles, signs and wonders until He was baptized in the River Jordan.  He launched His public ministry by being obedient and submissive to His heavenly Father.  He only said and did what He heard the Father tell Him to do.  He operated in the power of the Holy Spirit of God and was able to perform mighty feats. 

God anointed Jesus to heal the sick of all their afflictions as a tangible demonstration of His love, mercy and compassion for His people.  The blind were able to see; the deaf could hear; and the lame walked.  Christ cast out demons that held men in bondage to sin and evil and set them free.  Wherever He went, there were supernatural events that occurred to glorify our God. 

In most cases, our Lord healed without effort of any kind on His part.  The dynamic healing power simply came forth from Him whenever He was in the presence of disease and affliction.  However, in some instances, He rebuked the evil spirits until they loosed their victims.  At other times, Jesus forgave people all of their sins and their infirmities left them never to return again. 

Mark 3:10-11 “For he had healed many; insomuch that they pressed upon him for to touch him, as many as had plagues.  And unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down before him, and cried, saying, Thou art the Son of God.”  

In still other cases, the Lord took a more hands-on approach.  He mixed His spittle with dirt to make salve to heal the blind.  He touched many who were afflicted and disease left them.  Christ even raised the dead by the power of His words that lined up with those of almighty God.  He breathed His Spirit and life into all those He encountered and His divine authority was beyond dispute.   

The most dramatic cases of healing involved a combination of faith on the part of the individual and an intimate encounter with the living God.  Jairus’ daughter was healed by the faith of her father.  The Roman centurion claimed healing vicariously for his sick servant.  The woman with the issue of blood had strong faith coupled with the audacity to physically touch Christ’s garments. 

Spirits of infirmity and affliction had no recourse but to flee in Jesus’ presence.  He healed demoniacs at every turn.  He rebuked fevers and they left people.  He stopped convulsions and the victims were healed and left intact.  Everywhere Jesus went, healing and deliverance followed Him.  He was only limited in His ability to perform miracles when fear, doubt or unbelief were present. 

Luke 6:18-19 “And they that were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed. And the whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and healed [them] all.”   

Christ’s healing power was both tangible and substantive.  He could actually feel it leaving Him as He walked through the multitudes that required His help.  The Bible describes it as healing “virtue” that was present in His person and flowed through Him to others.  We know that it was the anointing of almighty God Himself to work miracles on behalf of His people.    

Jesus always healed others.  No one was turned away or left untouched.  He had great love, mercy and compassion for the multitudes, and He could personally relate to their pain and suffering.  Even though they exhausted Him with their endless needs, Christ still managed to heal them all.  He was faithful to minister to both their spiritual and temporal requirements.  

The same ability to heal and cast out demons that rested on Jesus Christ during His earthly ministry resides in His people today.  The Body of Christ has a sacred responsibility to heal and deliver just as our Savior once did.  The Holy Spirit operates through us to touch the lives of others, so they are forever changed.  We can walk just as Christ did, now and in all the days to come.

Matthew 15:30-31 “And great multitudes came unto him, having with them [those that were] lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus' feet; and he healed them: Insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel.” 

Illness and demonic oppression are no problem for almighty God.  He has created us to be in perfect health and it is His express will that we all be whole and intact at all times.  Our God is not glorified in affliction, nor does He ever bring it on His people to teach them something.  He is a good and merciful God, and He wants all of us to turn to Him and trust that He will keep us well. 

The Lord wants us to prosper and be in health just as our souls – our minds, wills and emotions – prosper.  He wants His people to be at their best at all times, so that they can serve one another with joy and vitality.   The very same healing anointing that flowed through Jesus Christ is available to us today.   Believers can lay hands on the sick and they will be healed of all their diseases.  

We can and should cast out demons in Christ’s name and deliver men of all their oppression to sin and evil.  We can set the captives free to the divine health and wellness that is promised to us.  The Lord is coming back for a people to inhabit His everlasting Kingdom, and there will be no sick and afflicted among us when He gathers us in.  We will all be alive and healthy for all time.
 

The Ultimate Power 

John 10:17-18 “Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.  No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.”   

Jesus knew His true identity and the nature of His destiny, despite the fact that He was flesh and blood just like us.  He came to this earth for a specific reason, and He was totally successful in all aspects of His public ministry.  His ultimate success, however, lay in the fact that He was able to lay down His life as our sacrificial substitute and set all of mankind free once and for all. 

He took on our all of our sin debt, as if it were His very own, and actually became a curse for us, so that we could be blessed.  He endured humiliation, torture and an agonizing crucifixion to redeem us from all of our transgressions.  We have received the gift of eternal life only because Christ willingly and obediently suffered and died to pay the penalty of death for all our sinfulness.  

There is no greater power than that which was demonstrated at the cross.  Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, accomplished the seemingly impossible for us.  He was the perfect Lamb of God, totally sinless in every way, yet He became sin for us and then bore its penalty in His own flesh.  Christ voluntarily became a sacrifice for our sins, so that we would not have to endure death. 

The grave could not hold Him, however.  He was raised again from the dead after three days, and He sits at the right hand of the Father in majesty and glory.  Jesus is ruler of both heaven and earth because of His perfect obedience.  He continues to manifest Himself through His people who walk in His name.  Our Lord and Savior works in us and through us to impact this entire earth. 

Hebrews 2:14-15 “Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;  And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.”   

Jesus Christ knew that there was no hope for mankind unless He stepped up and became like us in every way.  He laid down His deity when He came to this earth and was born of a woman, human in all respects.  He suffered the same temptation to sin that we do, but He was perfect in every way.  Yet, Jesus took on all of our infirmities, carried our diseases, and bore our sins in His very own flesh.   

He was betrayed by one of His own, and wrongfully accused of blasphemy and treason.  He was humiliated and severely scourged by His captors.  He was forced to carry His very own cross and sentenced to a death with common thieves.  Christ was an innocent Lamb of God, sacrificed for all of our transgressions.  He willingly laid down His own life, so that we could inherit eternal life through Him. 

Jesus made an open show of Satan and conquered him once and for all at the cross.  Had He not been obedient to His heavenly Father, He would never have been able to deliver us from the penalty of death that hung over us all of our lives.  We would still be in bondage to fear, were it not for our Lord and Savior.  He took the sting out of death for all of mankind when He rose again from the dead. 

Colossians 2:13-15 “And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; [And] having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.”   

The sacrifice of Christ Jesus sets us free from the law of sin and death.  Even though we are not worthy in our own right, His precious Blood covers us for all of our iniquity.  We are joint-heirs with Him to all the promises of God for righteousness.  There is no way that the devil can rob us of our blessings. We are more than conquerors; we can rule and reign in this life and in the Kingdom to come for all of eternity. 

Jesus nailed all our sins and transgressions to His cross once and for all.  He overcame the devil and all his minions on our behalf.  He restored us to right standing with our heavenly Father, so that we can approach the throne of grace without fear, shame or condemnation.  We are now the actual sons and daughters of almighty God and we are seated with Christ in heavenly places at the right hand of God Himself.   

There is no good thing that the Lord will ever withhold from us.  He wants to provide us with life in abundance to the overflow.  He will meet all of our needs according to His riches in glory and protect us from all harm and defilement.  He has great plans for our future.  Now that we are reconciled to Him, He can plan on dwelling with us for all of eternity in the Kingdom of God when it comes to this earth. 

Almighty God wants to gather us to Himself in an intimate relationship forever more.  Soon there will no longer be a separation between God and man ever again.  He will take an active interest in all the details of our personal lives and make certain that His people are always healthy, happy and prosperous.  We will worship the Lord in Spirit and in truth, as He desires, and He will be the focal point of our existence.   

Romans 1:3-6 “Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; And declared [to be] the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead: By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name: Among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ:” 

Jesus Christ was a son of Abraham, a direct descendant of King David in His human flesh.  He was conceived with royal blood by the power of the Holy Spirit of God Himself.  All of us who believe in Him and have been redeemed in His name, share in His lineage and in His eternal inheritance.  We have been saved by His agonizing death and glorious resurrection to eternal life with all of its many benefits. 

We have divine destinies to fulfill that will impact the fate of all mankind in the very near future.  If we have sanctified ourselves of all known sin and consecrated our personal lives in service to God and others, we can be used mightily in the critical days ahead.  The Lord will imbue us with His very own divine power and authority to take back this earth for the Kingdom of God even before Christ returns to us. 

The Gospel will be preached to every race, tongue and nation of this world.  We will heal the sick, cast out demons and even raise the dead.  Christ’s Kingdom will be our everlasting legacy for righteousness and obedience.  We will judge both men and angels, and rule and reign with Him.  We will be appointed kings and priests of God’s people, and teach all mankind how to dwell in love, peace and unity as brothers.
 

The King Of Glory 

Psalm 24:7-8 “Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who [is] this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.” 

Jesus Christ is the King of glory who brought salvation to all of mankind.  He is our mediator and our protector.  He always looks out for the best interest of His people.  He intercedes for us in the throne room of God and oversees all that occurs both in heaven and on the earth.  His powerful voice shakes up the entire creation, and He is captain of all the angelic hosts. 

There is a fierce battle of good vs. evil being fought in the heavenlies right now.  Jesus Christ and all His angels are waging war against the devil and all his minions.  The fate of the entire human race is at stake.  Very soon now, the Lord will defeat all His enemies in the wrath of His coming and eradicate all forms of wickedness and evil off the face of the earth for all time. 

Christ will destroy all the ungodly and their ungodliness.  There will be nothing left that remains to defile and contaminate either man or God.  Satan will be cast into the abyss and the Lord will judge His people to determine who is righteous and who deserves punishment.  He will gather all the faithful and banish the unrepentant wrongdoers to the unquenchable lake of fire.   

Jesus is a fair and just judge, and a righteous King.  He will rule and reign with a rod of iron to protect His people.  There will be peace and prosperity, safety and security, health and longevity, joy and freedom for all those who enter into the everlasting Kingdom of almighty God.  Nothing will disturb the serenity of life there.  The Lord Himself will dwell with us for all eternity. 

Matthew 25:31 “When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:” 

Our Lord and Savior is soon returning to consummate our redemption in spirit, soul and body.  However, He will not appear as a meek and mild Lamb of God this time.  He is determined to take vengeance on all of His enemies and smite them in the wrath of His coming.  He will destroy all wickedness and evil and banish Satan and all his demons to the bottomless pit. 

The Lord will judge the living and the dead, men and angels, His church and all the nations of the world.  No one will escape His scrutiny, nor be able to persuade Him to lower any of His perfect, impeccable standards for us.  We will pass before His throne of glory to determine our righteousness or our guilt.  We will all be judged according to our works in the flesh. 

Those who are wicked and unrepentant will perish in their sinfulness and rebellion.  They will be cast into the unquenchable lake of fire with all other wrongdoers.  There will be no second chances given to anyone.  Jesus Christ will gather all of the righteous to Himself in the everlasting Kingdom of almighty God.  We will thrive in His awesome presence for all of eternity. 

Luke 19:37-38 “And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen; Saying, Blessed [be] the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.”  

Jesus Christ is, was, and always will be the everlasting King of glory who came in the name of the Lord to impact both the heavens and the earth with His awesome power.  No ordinary human being could have ever accomplished all that Christ did as the Son of God who was made flesh.  He redeemed all mankind in His infinite love, mercy and compassion for the human race. 

Our Lord and Savior laid down His very own life, so that we could be set free from all our bondage to sin and evil.  He saved us from the penalty of death by taking on all of our sin debt as His own.  He was our sacrificial substitute and set all the captives free to receive eternal life.  Because of Him, we have a bright and promising future as the sons and daughters of God. 

Very soon now, Jesus Christ will return in all of His majesty to rule and reign in His everlasting Kingdom on this earth.  He will be a fair judge, a righteous king and a generous benefactor to His people.  He will make certain that we are protected from all harm and safe from defilement.  No wickedness and evil, nor death and disease, will contaminate our lives ever again. 

We will give Him all the glory and honor, praise and gratitude that He deserves.  Christ will rule and reign over all the nations of this world.  Our heavenly Father will boast of Him and accord Him the highest degree of favor because of all that He has done for His people.  Soon every knee will bow, and every tongue proclaim, that “Jesus is Lord over all of creation.”
 

Seated At The Right Hand Of Power 

Hebrews 1:1-3 “God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by [his] Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of [his] glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;”   

Jesus Christ was God in all respects, and He was with His Father from the very foundation of the world.  He is the Word of God by whom all things were made.  Yet He laid down His deity and humbled Himself to come to this earth as a mere man.  He temporarily emptied Himself of His divine attributes, so that He could become one of us.  It took one perfect man to redeem the entire human race. 

He, who knew no sin whatsoever, actually became sin for us and then suffered its penalty of death in His own flesh.  Jesus took on all of our transgressions, as if they were His very own, and then paid for our sin debt so that we could be set free.  He was humiliated, tortured and crucified, so that we would not have to endure the same fate.  He was our sacrificial substitute, the only perfect Lamb of God.   

Our Lord and Savior taught us that love is the most important thing that could ever motivate us in our walk with God.  He demonstrated that type of unselfish, agape love by giving His own life in exchange for ours.  He is our role model for righteousness, love and obedience.  He was the express image of His Father at all times, and has proven Himself worthy and deserving of all glory, praise and honor.   

Jesus Christ fulfilled His divine destiny to perfection.  He saved all of mankind with His death on the cross and brought us eternal life through His resurrection from the dead.  He spoiled all principalities and powers and overcame sin, death and the grave.  Jesus defeated the devil and took back dominion over the entire earth and restored it to us.  He is now seated at the right hand of God in all His majesty. 

Hebrews 10:12-14 “But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.”   

Jesus Christ was the Son of almighty God made man for our express benefit.  He was sent to the earth realm to defeat the works of the devil and to redeem all of mankind once and for all.  He offered up His very own body as the ultimate sacrifice for our sinfulness.  He suffered, died, was buried and rose again from the dead, so that we could be reconciled with our heavenly Father. 

Christ is now seated in majesty at the right hand of God.  All power has been given to Him both in heaven and on the earth.  He is captain of the heavenly hosts and the Head of His Body – the church.  He is above all, and in all, things simultaneously.  It is through His inimitable power and glory that all of His enemies will be made His footstool, and all of His followers will be perfected. 

Very soon now, Christ will return to us to receive His everlasting Kingdom and to begin His millennial rule and reign.  He will judge all men and even angels to determine who has been righteous and obedient and who has been sinful and rebellious.  Every knee will bow and every tongue proclaim, that “Jesus is Lord over all creation.”  We will give Him all the praise and honor He deserves. 

Luke 22:69 “Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of God.”   

Our heavenly Father has exalted Jesus for all that He did on our behalf.  His earthly ministry was a total success, and He is now seated at the right hand of God in power.  He rules over both heaven and earth, and of His Kingdom there will be no end.  His followers have been imbued with His very own anointing, so that they can complete His ministry in this world today, even prior to His return to us. 

We are the sons and daughters of almighty God Himself – joint-heirs with Jesus to all the promises for righteousness.  We have been given a divine commission to reclaim the earth for our Lord and Savior.  We can share our faith with conviction and gather in the full, end-time harvest of souls.  We will heal the sick of all afflictions, cast out demons, and even raise the dead back to life in Jesus’ name.   

Nothing will be impossible to us if we appropriate our full measure of divine power and authority in the critical days that lie ahead.  The same Holy Spirit that rested on Jesus Christ will abide in us and do the same works that He did, and even greater works, since He has gone to be with His Father.  We will impact the fate of all of humanity and usher in the everlasting Kingdom of God with a flourish. 

John 17:5-7 “And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.  I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word. Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee.”   

Jesus Christ was clothed in glory from the foundation of the world.  He is the creator, the savior and the intercessor for His people on this earth.  Our heavenly Father is exceedingly proud of His beloved Son.  He denied Himself the privileges of deity, and emptied Himself out for the sake of all mankind.  He is now seated in power and glory at the very right hand of God in the throne room of heaven.   

Those of us who have been faithful to serve the Lord and minister to His people in these last days will soon receive generous rewards for our efforts.  Christ will appoint us to be kings and priests of almighty God.  We will judge both men and angels and have the heathen for our inheritance in the uttermost parts of the earth.  The Lord will boast of us to all creation and magnify our names for all eternity. 

All men will look up to us as we teach them how to dwell together as brothers and sisters in love, peace and unity.  We will enforce Kingdom principles of fairness and justice in all of our affairs.  We will always be godly role models for others, and demonstrate how to worship God in Spirit and in truth.  We will celebrate all of the Lord’s sabbaths and perpetual feast days with joy and gladness in our hearts. 

Our heavenly Father will be infinitely pleased with us, and take an active interest in all the details of our personal lives.  He will supply all of our needs – both spiritual and temporal – in abundance.  We will be the center of all His attention and He will be our focal point, as well.  We will be glorified together with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, as He rules and reigns over all the nations of the world. 

Chapter 3 - The Blood And The Name 

Hebrews 9:22-24 “And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. [It was] therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, [which are] the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:” 

The Lord gave men the old Mosaic Law so that they would adhere to His perfect, impeccable standards of morality, rather than commit a variety of sins that only estranged Him further from them.  However, if they disobeyed any one of His commandments, they violated them all.  There was no way that any human being could ever be reconciled to God in their own strength. 

Under the terms of the Old Testament Law a blood sacrifice had to be offered up to atone for the sins of God’s people on a regular basis.  The priest would have to cleanse himself of all defilement and enter into the temple’s Holy of Holies several times a year.  He would then sacrifice sheep, bulls, calves or goats in exchange for all the transgressions of the congregation. 

These sacrifices never permanently satisfied the terms of the Law which specified the shedding of blood.  They had to be offered again and again because sin was recurring.  When Christ came to this earth, He actually took on the sins of all mankind, as if they were His very own.  He willingly laid down His own life as a Blood sacrifice for the full remission of all our sins.  

It was not necessary that Jesus perform frequent, sacrificial rituals to the Father to pay our sin debt in its entirety.  With His one perfect act of obedience, He satisfied all the requirements of the Law and restored men to right standing with almighty God.  We should no longer have a sin consciousness.  Christ took on all our shame, guilt and condemnation in His own flesh. 

Galatians 3:13-14 “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed [is] every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.” 

The Lord suffered an agonizing death, so that we would not have to endure the same fate.  Then He rose again, as the firstborn of many sons and daughters of God.  He conquered sin, death and the grave, so that we could also be overcomers in this life.  He spoiled all powers and principalities, and took back man’s dominion over the entire earth from Satan, the enemy of our souls.   

Jesus Christ paid the full price for our sinfulness once and for all time.  He actually became a curse for us, so that we could be blessed in abundance.  He is our redeemer, our mediator and our intercessor, and we have become the righteousness of God in Him.  We are joint-heirs to all the promises and seated with Him in heavenly places at the right hand of God Himself. 

If we have made Jesus our personal Lord and Savior, we are saved to eternal life with all of its many benefits.  There is no good thing that He will ever withhold from us.  He will meet all of our needs, both spiritual and temporal.  We will dwell forever in His awesome presence in the Kingdom of God.  Soon there will be no more separation between God and man ever again. 

We now have a permanent covenant of peace with our Creator.  Health and longevity, peace and prosperity, joy and freedom are all well within our reach.  The Lord will treat us as He did faithful Abraham, and grant us many temporal and spiritual blessings.  No enemy will be able to stand against us.  We will reign now in this life, and in the Kingdom to come, for all eternity. 

Hebrews 9:11-14 “But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption [for us]. For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?” 

There is no way that any man can ever be righteous in his own strength under the terms of the Law.  Sin requires the shedding of blood to remit it totally and completely.  Jesus fulfilled the requirements of the Law once and for all time with His death and resurrection.  He was the perfect sacrifice that was needed to buy back our innocence, so that we could be blessed in abundance. 

We have received a great and wonderful gift through the merits of Jesus Christ.  His shed Blood has restored our righteousness once and for all.  Now all that we have to do is sanctify ourselves from all our carnality and selfish soul ambitions so that we can follow in His footsteps.   We have divine destinies to fulfill that will have a major impact on the future of all mankind. 

If we are consecrated and dedicated to His holy purpose, we will resume Christ’s ministry on this earth even before He returns to us.  We will be imbued with divine power so we can serve the Lord and His people.  We will share our faith as He arranges our contacts, and baptize many souls in the name of Jesus Christ.  We will heal the sick, cast out demons, and even raise the dead. 

Nothing will be impossible to us if we do it in Jesus’ name.  He will work through us to demonstrate His mercy, love and compassion for the entire human race.  We will reflect His awesome power and authority in everything that we say and do.  We will confront world governments and bring peace to the earth.  We will restore all of creation back to its original beauty and balance.   

Philippians 2:9-11 “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of [things] in heaven, and [things] in earth, and [things] under the earth; And [that] every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ [is] Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”   

The name of Jesus Christ is above every other name both in heaven and on the earth.  He is the Alpha and the Omega, the Word of God that was present from the very foundation of the world.  He is Faithful and True, the Prince of Peace, our Lord and Savior and our Righteous King.  Almighty God has exalted Him because of all that He is, and all that He has accomplished for us. 

Christ paid our sin debt in its entirety with His very own Blood.  He restored our right standing with God and gave us eternal life in the process.  He defeated the works of the devil and made an open show of all principalities and powers with His suffering and death on the cross.  He took back dominion over the entire earth and gave it back to mankind where it rightfully belongs. 

We have been given divine power and authority to serve the Lord and His people.  We will challenge world governments to abolish war, violence and conflict from their affairs with one another.  We will eradicate poverty and lack and teach all men to share their material resources.  We will reverse the adverse effects of pollution and restore all creation to its original beauty and balance. 

Very soon now, Jesus Christ will return to this earth to receive His everlasting Kingdom.  He will judge both men and angels to determine who is righteous and who deserves everlasting punishment.  Every knee will bow and every tongue proclaim, that Jesus is “Lord over all of creation.”  He will be glorified for all of eternity and rule and reign over all the nations of this world.

The Ultimate Sacrifice 

Almighty God knew that we were without hope under the terms of the Old Testament Law.  The blood of sheep, bulls, calves and goats was insufficient to atone for man’s sinfulness and restore us to righteousness.  He sent His only Son to this world to redeem us from all our transgressions.  Had it not been for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, we would all be lost in our sins for all of eternity.  

Jesus came to this earth as a mere man and relinquished His deity to become one of us.  He was born of a woman by the power of the Holy Spirit and led a perfect, sinless life.  He, who knew no sin, actually became sin for us, so that He could pay our sin debt in its entirety.  Jesus laid down His own life as a Blood sacrifice in atonement for the sins of all mankind – past, present and future.  

He suffered and died an agonizing death, so that we could have life in abundance to the overflow.  He restored us to right standing with our heavenly Father through the offering of His own flesh on our behalf.  There is no longer a separation between God and man.  We are new creatures in Christ.  Our sins are now removed far from us, and the Lord sees us as covered by the Blood of Jesus.  

We need not experience shame, guilt or condemnation any longer.  We can approach the throne of grace with all our needs, in full assurance that they will be met in abundance.  The Lord views us as His beloved sons and daughters and there is no good thing that He will ever withhold from us.  We have grace and unmerited favor with Him that only our faith in Jesus Christ can provide us. 

1Peter 1:2 “Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.”  

The Lord had a perfect rescue plan in place from the very moment that Adam rebelled and sinned in the Garden of Eden.  He was not content to abandon mankind in their sinfulness.  He was determined to set things right legally and restore us to right standing with Him, so that there is no longer a separation between God and man.  He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to this earth to buy back our righteousness. 

Almighty God knew that it would take another human being, who was perfect in every way, to set the record straight and redeem all of mankind from the curse that sin brought.  Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a woman, just as we are.  Yet He never sinned, so He could be the perfect Lamb of God who willingly and obediently offered up His own life in atonement for all of our transgressions. 

The Lord laid the iniquity of all mankind on Jesus Christ at the cross.  He, who knew no sin, became sin for us and then suffered its penalty of death.  We do not have to do anything other than repent from the heart; believe in His name; and confess Him as our personal Lord and Savior, in order to be redeemed to eternal life.  Christ died, so that we can be spared that same fate, and receive life in abundance to the overflow. 

Ephesians 1:4-7 “According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;”   

We were called, elect and chosen from the beginning of time to be in an intimate relationship with our God.  Sin may have temporarily separated us, but the Blood of Jesus Christ bridged the gap and restored us to our right standing with our Creator.  If we truly believe in Him, and all that He accomplished with His death on the cross, we are saved to eternal life with all its many benefits.   

Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice just for us.  Our righteousness is now secure and we have grace, or unmerited favor, with our God.  There is no good thing that the Lord will ever withhold from us.  We can approach our heavenly Father with every need and know that it will be satisfied.  We are now actually seated with Christ in heavenly places at the right hand of almighty God Himself. 

The Lord views us as He does Jesus; we are holy and perfect in His eyes.  Christ dwells in us, and we abide in Him.  If we imitate His laid down life, we will be imbued with power and authority from on high to operate in His name.  We will do the very works that Jesus did while He was on the earth.  We will preach the Gospel, heal the sick, cast out demons and even raise the dead. 

We have a covenant of peace with God and we have become joint-heirs with Jesus to all the promises for righteousness.  The Kingdom of God will be our eternal legacy.  We will share in Christ’s very own honor and glory.  The Lord will boast of us to all creation as His sons and daughters and shower us with many blessings.  We will dwell in His awesome presence and thrive for all of eternity.
 

The Blood Cleanses Us 

1Peter 1:18-21 “Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, [as] silver and gold, from your vain conversation [received] by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.”   

Jesus Christ was ordained from before the very foundation of the world to serve as our Lord and Savior.  He was the perfect Lamb of God, the only suitable sacrifice that could be made for the propitiation of our sins.  He became one of us and led a sinless life Himself while He was here on this earth.  He served as our substitute in paying the penalty of death that was leveled against all of mankind. 

He suffered, died and was buried to redeem all of mankind from the curse of the law.  Then He rose again to glory, so that we could experience the newness of life.  Our Lord and Savior bought back our innocence and secured our inheritance in the everlasting Kingdom of almighty God.  Very soon now, He will return to this earth to complete our redemption in spirit, soul and body, so that we are like Him in every way. 

We are not righteous in our own strength, no matter what we do to appease God for our sinfulness.  There is no way that we can purchase our salvation either.  We are cleansed only by the Blood of Jesus Christ, which was shed for us in remission for all of our sins – past, present and future.  Through Christ, we have been made the righteousness of God and heirs to all of the blessings of Abraham. 

Our hope and faith should rest in all that Jesus accomplished on our behalf.  We can have real confidence for our future.  Because of His obedience, we are now in right standing with almighty God and we have become His very own sons and daughters.  We are actually seated with Christ in heavenly places.  There is no good thing that the Lord will ever withhold from us if we believe the truth and walk in His ways. 

1John 1:9 “This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”   

Our Lord and Savior is our righteous role model and our example for perfect obedience.  He operated in love at all times and walked in light in everything that He thought, said and did.  He received guidance and direction by the power of the Holy Spirit of almighty God Himself.  All things were revealed to Him, so that He could be totally effective during His earthly ministry.   

If we have fellowship with God, then we will also learn to walk in the light.  We can overcome all the darkness that surrounds us and appropriate Christ’s righteousness by faith.  If we should slip and miss the mark, we can confess our sins and be certain that we will be forgiven once again.  There is no valid reason why we should ever be separated from our heavenly Father. 

The Blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us of all sin, so that we are uncompromisingly righteous in God’s eyes.  He sees us as His very own sons and daughters and He is pleased when we dwell in peace and unity.  We have divine destinies to fulfill that require us to be unified in the Holy Spirit.  We can accomplish a great deal more by working cooperatively than we can as individuals.   

Revelation 1:5-6 “And from Jesus Christ, [who is] the faithful witness, [and] the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him [be] glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.” 

Jesus Christ was the firstborn of many sons and daughters of almighty God.  He is the captain of our salvation, our role model, mediator and intercessor with His heavenly Father.  When the Lord looks at us, He sees the Blood of Jesus Christ that cleanses us of all our sinfulness and washes us clean from all of our ancestral iniquity.  The Lord will never impute our sins to us ever again. 

It is now possible for us to approach the throne of His grace without fear, shame or condemnation of any kind.  Almighty God always welcomes our advances, and desires our intimacy as His beloved children.  The Lord will hear all of our prayers and grant all our requests.  He is able to provide exceeding abundantly all that we could ever ask or think according to the power that works in us. 

We will prevail in this life and in the Kingdom to come for all of eternity.  We will dwell in the very presence of God Himself in peace and prosperity, safety and security, health and longevity, joy and freedom.  The Lord will take vengeance on all of our enemies and restore all that was taken from us over the years.  He will make certain that all of our needs are met in abundance. 

If we have been faithful to serve the Lord and His people, we will have generous rewards for all of our efforts.  Jesus Christ will appoint us kings and priests.  We will judge both men and angels, and share in His honor and glory.  We will have the heathen in the uttermost parts of the earth for our inheritance.  We will actually rule and reign with Christ over all of the nations of this world.
 

Partaking Of The Blood

Matthew 26:26-28 “And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed [it], and brake [it], and gave [it] to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave [it] to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.”   

The Lord’s Supper was celebrated by Jesus and His disciples as a type and shadow of what was to come.  He offered up bread and likened it to His own Body that would be crucified for our express benefit on the cross.  He offered the wine in commemoration of His Blood, which was to be shed for all of mankind as a propitiation for all of our sins and ancestral iniquity. 

Christ urged all of us to do the same in remembrance of Him after He was gone.  Every time we break bread and drink wine in His holy name, we show deference and respect for all that He accomplished on our behalf.  We vicariously partake of His suffering and death, and rejoice in His resurrection from the dead by taking the communion elements in a worthy manner. 

Jesus is actually present in the bread and the wine, as a tangible sign to us.  He wants us to reflect on all that He has done by celebrating His life and death.  We are now the righteousness of God by faith and heirs to all of the promises.  There is no longer a separation between God and man.  We are brand new creatures in Christ, and He dwells in each and every one of us. 

1Corinthians 10:16 “The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?”  

We are now crucified with Christ, metaphorically speaking, and we acknowledge all His accomplishments by partaking of His Body and Blood.  We actually commune with Him in the Lord’s Supper, and we should show proper deference and respect to our Savior.  We must never receive the sacramental elements without being fully prepared to recognize them for all that they represent. 

The communion bread and wine should be handled circumspectly because of what they signify.  Jesus Christ was the least deserving of punishment and death than any other human being.  He was totally sinless, yet He actually became sin for us and then suffered its penalty of death with His very own Body and Blood.   There is no greater sacrifice that has ever been made by anyone else. 

When we eat the bread and drink the wine of the Lord’s Supper, we share vicariously in all of His pain and suffering and rejoice in His subsequent victory over sin, death and the grave.  We demonstrate that we are sincere followers of the Lord, Jesus Christ, and show Him the gratitude and honor that He deserves.  His Body and Blood strengthen our spirit and fortify us against all evil. 

John 6:53-56 “Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.”   

The Lord was most specific about His followers celebrating His Blood sacrifice.  He insisted that unless we partake of His Body and Blood that we have no part of Him.  He wants to be so close to His people that we actually dwell in Him, and He is an integral part of us.  When we eat the bread of His Body and drink the wine of His Blood, we become one with Him and through Him.

If we are sincere believers in Jesus Christ, and all that He did for us at the cross, then we should have no problem commemorating His death and resurrection with the consecrated bread and wine.  We should be grateful for the opportunity to acknowledge Him and His sacrifice on our behalf.  We should eagerly approach the Lord’s Supper with gratitude and praise in our hearts. 

Believers have received the gift of eternal life because of all that He did for us.  We are no longer lost in our sins and subject to the penalty of death.  There is no more separation between God and man.  We have been restored to a covenant relationship with our Creator.  The Body and Blood of Christ assure us that we are now innocent and have His resurrection life residing in us forever.
 

The New Covenant 

Romans 11:27 “For this [is] my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.”   

We have an eternal covenant with almighty God because of all that His Son, Jesus Christ, did for us.  Our sins are all forgiven and we are now in right standing with our heavenly Father.  There is no longer a need for us to atone for our own sinfulness.  The Lord can relate to us on an intimate basis now and shower us with everlasting blessings, as He has always desired to do.   

In return, we must assume our divine destinies and serve the Lord and His people, as we are ordained to do.  He is in need of our help in rescuing others from darkness and destruction.  We should share our beliefs and break the yokes of bondage to sin and evil off of them.  We will work mighty miracles, signs and wonders to attest to our faith and see the entire planet transformed. 

Our God will soon gather us to Himself for all of eternity.  He will take vengeance on all of our enemies and restore all that has been taken from us.  He will change these mortal bodies that are susceptible to disease and death into glorious, resurrection forms that live forever in health and vitality.  We will have peace and prosperity, safety and security, joy and freedom. 

The Kingdom of God will be heaven on the earth for all those who are worthy to enter into it.  There will be no more war, violence and conflict anywhere; the entire world will be peaceful and serene.  Social injustice will finally disappear; all men will be treated with fairness, dignity and respect.  Poverty and lack will be eradicated; all of our needs will be met in abundance.   

Hebrews 12:22-24 “But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than [that of] Abel.” 

We will see the power and glory of almighty God manifested as never before in the days that lie ahead.  He will make certain that we all reach the full stature of Jesus Christ.  We have divine destinies which must be fulfilled in order to bring heaven itself to this earth realm.  We will operate in genuine Christ-like power and authority to usher in the everlasting Kingdom of God. 

We will preach the Gospel throughout the entire world to every man, woman and child.  We will baptize countless numbers, so that they can receive eternal life.  We will heal the sick of all their afflictions and cast out demons that hold men in bondage to sin and evil.  We will even raise the dead back to life as a powerful demonstration of God’s mercy and compassion. 

We are the church of the living God – just men made perfect – and nothing will be impossible to us.  We will change the fate of this entire earth.  We will challenge all world governments to adopt godly principles.  We will eliminate all poverty and lack.  We will restore all of creation to its original beauty and balance, and ensure that God’s will is done on earth as it is in heaven. 

Hebrews 13:20-21 “Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom [be] glory for ever and ever. Amen.”  

The Lord, Jesus Christ, will make certain that His disciples complete His earthly ministry to perfection in the critical days that lie ahead.  We will preach the Gospel of the Kingdom of God with genuine power and conviction and works miracles, signs and wonders in His holy name.  We will heal the sick of all their afflictions; cast out demons that hold men in bondage; and even raise the dead back to life once again. 

We will take back our dominion over the entire earth and prepare it for heaven to be ushered in here.  There will be no more wars, violence or conflict anywhere.  Poverty and lack will be abolished, as all men learn to share their material resources with one another.  Social injustice will be eradicated once and for all time.  Every form of contamination and defilement will be removed far from us, as we usher in the Kingdom.   

The Lord will have us bring love, peace and unity to this earth realm even before He returns.  All men will dwell together as brothers and sisters and be treated with fairness, dignity and respect.  The government of almighty God and His justice system will prevail.  The kingdoms of this world will become the Kingdom of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  He will ensure that only righteous principles are in force at all times.  

The Kingdom of God will be the answer to all of our prayers and the solution to all of our problems.  It will be paradise on this earth for both God and man.  The Lord will supply all of our needs in abundance even before we ask Him.  His laws will be written on our minds and in our hearts.  We will dwell with both men and angels in His awesome presence, and give Him all the thanks and praise, honor and glory He deserves.   

Ephesians 2:13-18 “But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition [between us]; Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, [even] the law of commandments [contained] in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, [so] making peace; And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.  For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.”   

We have a permanent covenant of peace with almighty God through the merits of the Blood of His Son, Jesus Christ.  While we were once at enmity with Him because of Adam’s sin and rebellion, Christ’s sacrifice on our behalf has torn down all of the partitions that existed between God and man, so that we are now one with Him in an intimate relationship, as He desires.  

Believers can commune with God through the power of His Holy Spirit and receive wisdom and revelation, guidance and direction, to be successful in all that we think, say and do.  We can be totally righteous in His eyes and no longer have our sins imputed to us.  We are heirs to great and precious promises through our faith, and no good thing will ever be withheld from us. 

There is no longer an estrangement between God and mankind.  We have been restored to our right standing with our Creator and He has wonderful plans and purposes for our lives.  He will soon gather us to Himself in the everlasting Kingdom of God on this earth.  He will supply all of our needs in abundance and change our mortal bodies into new, glorious, resurrection forms. 

We will dwell in His awesome presence and He will boast of us to all creation as His very own sons and daughters.  The Lord will take vengeance on all of our enemies and restore anything that has been stolen from us.  He will protect us from all harm and provide us with peace and prosperity, safety and security, health and longevity, joy and freedom for all of eternity.
 

Life Through The Name Of Jesus

John 20:31 “But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.”  

The name of Jesus Christ is above every other name.  He is exalted in all of creation because of who He is and what He has accomplished.  He is the Word of God who was with the Father from the very foundation of the world and by Him, all things were made.  He is our Lord and Savior, the Redeemer of all mankind.  He is the King of kings and Lord of lords who will rule and reign for all eternity. 

If we believe in His name and appropriate the righteousness that He has bought and paid for on our behalf, we will be saved to eternal life with all of its many benefits.  We will be able to overcome the world, our flesh and the devil because He has made it possible for us to be more than conquerors in His mighty name.  He is our role model and mediator with the Father and always intercedes for us. 

When we accept Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior, we are born again in our spirit man.  We become brand new creatures in Christ.  Our minds are renewed in the truth and our behavior is totally transformed until it becomes godly.  We imitate the laid down life of Christ Himself, and embrace our divine destinies as His goodwill ambassadors for the everlasting Kingdom of God. 

1John 3:23-24 “And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.” 

Jesus Christ did not come to this earth to condemn mankind, but to deliver us from our bondage to sin and evil and give us a fresh start.  Through Him, we have received forgiveness for all of our transgressions and the gift of eternal life.  We are now in right standing with God and joint-heirs with Jesus to all the promises for righteousness.  There is no good thing that the Lord will ever withhold from us.   

Life in abundance is available to us through Jesus Christ.  We are commanded to believe in His name and to love one another, just as He loved us.  If we do, He will actually come and dwell in us and we will be able to overcome the world, our flesh and the devil through the power of His name.  His very own Holy Spirit will permeate our being, lead and guide us, and leave us changed in every way. 

Christ has given us a divine commission to go forth in His name and make disciples of all men.  We will share the truth of the Gospel of His Kingdom with all those who are willing to listen.  Every man, woman and child will have an equal opportunity to be saved to eternal life with all of its many blessings.  We will demonstrate the love, mercy and compassion of almighty God Himself for His people. 

Whatever we do will be totally successful if we use the power of attorney that has been granted to us in invoking Jesus’ awesome name.  The name of Jesus will cover and protect us in everything that we say and do.  We can reign in this life and in the Kingdom to come if we remember who we are and whom we serve.  We can do all things through Christ, who strengthens us by the power of His holy name.   

Acts 2:38 “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.”  

There is only one name by which we must be saved to eternal life with all of its many blessings.  If we repent of all of our sins; confess Jesus Christ as Lord; and are baptized in His precious name; we are born again in our spirit man.  We become new creatures in Christ and our minds are renewed in the truth.  Our behavior is gradually transformed until it becomes godly.

We can ask for and receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit of God, as well.  The Lord will send His very own Spirit to indwell us.  The Holy Spirit will convict us of all sin and lead and guide us into all truth.  He will strengthen us and help us to overcome any temptation to sin and evil.  We will also develop spiritual fruit – characteristics that are like those of God Himself.

The Kingdom of almighty God will be heaven on this earth for all those who are righteous, loving and obedient.  We are returning to our roots in the Garden of Eden, with no downside this time.  We will have all of our needs met in abundance and bask in the glory that the Lord has in store for us.  He will boast of us to all creation as His very own sons and daughters.
