Sentinels
These
trees,
as silent sentinels
against an azure sky -
Stand boldly and majestically,
as reaching to the
heights.
We
read of men in ages past ...
great
Fathers of our faith -
Moses, David, Joseph ...
Abraham,
and
all
the rest.
Immovable, with
great
resolve
they
followed God’s commands.
Steadfast,
they rose to
conquer,
giving heed to
all
His plans.
May
we,
as they,
courageous
be ...
unwavering
in our
tasks -
Trusting and believing,
doing
all
that our God asks.
