WHY GOD CREATED
US
CHRISTIANITY OASIS
HAS PROVIDED YOU WITH THIS WHY GOD CREATED US STUDY. THIS WHY GOD
CREATED US STUDY LOOKS INTO HOW WE ASK GOD WHY THIS AND
WHY THAT AND WHY GOD CREATED US. WHY GOD CREATED US IS A
QUESTION THAT MOST
HAVE ASKED AT ONE TIME OR ANOTHER. WHY GOD CREATED US IS USUALLY A CRY THAT MOST ASK WHEN
SUFFERING TRIALS AND TRIBULATIONS. SO WHY DID GOD CREATE US? LET US SEEK AND FIND THE TRUTH OF
WHY GOD CREATED US TOGETHER IN THIS WHY GOD CREATED US BIBLE
STUDY, SHALL WE?
WHY GOD CREATED US
Trials and tribulations are
something that every person experiences through the course
of their lifetime. If you don't understand why we're subject
to trial and tribulation, you may find yourself placing the
blame on God. One thing that we should always remember
is that God may do whatever He wants with us His children,
and indeed there are times when our trials and tribulations
may be allowed by God or even
God's will, but most of the time, we bring our trials and
tribulations about all by ourselves or others that have
authority in or over our lives.
The first
thing that everyone should understand is the difference
between fate and destiny.
Fate is the result of choices that we make but Destiny is
irresistible. Destiny is your destination ... Destiny is what is
destined to happen to you. It's what IS
going to be the final result. It has been predetermined
beforehand. Fate, on the other hand, is the result of the different
directions that we take by our own free will on the road to
our destiny.
The next thing that we all should understand is free will.
Life isn't a puppet show, with everything we say, do, and
think, all written out by God before it actually happens.
What would be the point? God gave us all free will ...
Which
is the choice to do what we "will" or wish. Now
one may say if our life is predestined how does one say that
we have free will or Choice for that matter.
It is like
this ... God knows what you are going to choose cuz He is
God, but you are the one allowed to make choices which is
WHY Destiny will occur. God just got a sneak preview and
knows what your destiny is.
Perhaps this is done so that God will be able to show this
person that they DID get to choose when they are standing at
Judgment saying WHY GOD.
Keep in
mind that God gave us the Bible and sends men and women with
His Word to help guide us to make the right choices, but in
the end ... It is us that will make every choice. Even the
choice to surrender our SELF and let Him lead us ... Is a
choice. Even making no choice IS a choice. Cuz
you CHOSE not to make a choice.
Did you
know that God even gave the Angels free will?
Sooooooo, what about these Angels? God created Angels before
He created mankind. They are spiritual (they have no flesh) and Heaven was their home.
|
Hebrews 1:13-14
But to
which of the
angels
said he at any time,
Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy
footstool? Are they not all
ministering spirits,
sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of
salvation? |
God's intent was
that they would remain pure and righteous. When God created
mankind, they were created in HIS image (See
Trinity study
to learn more) and they were intended to remain pure and righteous,
and death couldn't have taken hold on them. But ... Through their knowledge (by eating from
the tree of knowledge of good and evil), original sin (See
the Original Sin study to learn more) took hold of them (their
flesh). In fact, if you will recall, God didn't say that
mankind would return to dust until AFTER they ate of the
tree:
|
Genesis 3:17-19
And unto Adam he said,
Because
thou hast hearkened
unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the
tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt
not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in
sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;
Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee;
and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; In the sweat
of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return
unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken:
for
dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return. |
Now, back
to the free will business ... Some of the Angels decided
(with their own free will) to leave their Heavenly home to
cohabitate with the daughters of men on Earth.
|
Genesis
6:1-7
And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the
face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,
That the sons of God (Angels) saw the daughters of men
that they were fair; and they took them wives of all
which they chose. And the LORD said, My spirit shall
not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh:
yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. There were
giants in the Earth in those days; and also
after that, when the sons of God (Angels) came in unto
the daughters of men, and they bare children to them,
the same became mighty men which were of old, men of
renown. And God saw that the wickedness of man was
great in the Earth, and that every imagination of the
thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And
it repented the LORD that he had made man on the
Earth, and it grieved him at his heart. And the LORD
said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the
face of the Earth; both man, and beast, and the
creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it
repenteth me that I have made them. |
Okay, let's get this straight.
According to the Trinity study ... When we're
born, we are given a soul, a body and a spirit in the image
of God. When we die, our body returns to dust, and our
spirit returns to God, but what about our soul? Well, if
you're a believer, your soul goes to
Abraham's Bosom, also
known as Paradise, awaiting the first resurrection.
|
Revelation 20:5-6
But the rest of the dead lived not again until the
thousand years were finished. This is the
first resurrection.
Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first
resurrection: on such the second death hath no power,
but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and
shall reign with Him a thousand years. |
Now, here's what's interesting. When the
first resurrection happens, the believers in Jesus Christ,
become as Angels.
|
Matthew 22:30
For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are
given in marriage, but are as the angels of God
in heaven. |
|
1 C orinthians
15:39-40,44
All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind
of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of
fishes, and another of birds. There are also celestial
bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the
celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is
another. It is sown a natural body;
it is raised a
spiritual body.
There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual
body. |
Although,
if you're a believer that God chooses to rapture, your soul
goes straight to Heaven and you become an Angel.
|
Revelation 7:9-11
After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which
no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and
people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and
before the Lamb, clothed
with white robes, and
palms in their hands; And cried with a loud voice,
saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the
throne, and unto the Lamb.
And all the Angels stood round
about the throne, and
about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before
the throne on their faces, and worshipped God. |
Is that
cool, or what? Well it's all fine and dandy that we
understand HOW we become Angels ...
So ... How is God to
determine WHAT KIND of Angel you'll be?
Should He just take
your word for it?
WHY does God let
things happen?
God doesn't
want another bunch of fallen Angels. The trials and
tribulations we face ... and how we deal with them ... prove
ourselves to God, and what kind of Angels we will be for
Him.
What is the
test and trial factor?
Have you
ever read the Book of Job?
Let me show you something
interesting before we talk about Job.
In Heaven,
the Angels report to God about the things that go on down
here on Earth:
|
Matthew 18:10
Take heed that ye despise not one of these little
ones; for I say unto you, That in Heaven their Angels
do always behold the face of my Father which is in
Heaven. |
We see
these angels report to God on our part but there are also
fallen angels that report AGAINST us.
|
Revelation 12:10
And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come
salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God,
and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of
our brethren is cast down, which accused them
before our God day and night. |
Now, Job
was a man who had everything going for him. Well, Satan saw
this and in his jealousy and wickedness, he asked God if he
could mess with Job, to prove to God that Job would curse
Him to His face.
|
Job 1:6-12
Now there was a day when the sons of God (Angels) came
to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came
also among them. And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence
comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said,
From going to and fro in the Earth, and from walking
up and down in it. And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast
thou considered my servant Job, that there is none
like him in the Earth, a perfect and an upright man,
one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? Then Satan
answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for
nought? Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and
about his house, and about all that he hath on every
side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his
substance is increased in the land. But put forth
thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he
will curse thee to thy face. And the LORD said unto
Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only
upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went
forth from the presence of the LORD. |
Don't think for a moment that they don't
eagerly await every chance they can get to tattle on anyone
they can.
Now, to make a long story
short, Satan was allowed to take everything away from Job,
including his children, all he owned, even his health. What
was Job's response? I came into the world with nothing, and
I will leave that way ... The Lord has given, and the Lord
has taken away. Never once did Job blame God. Of course Job
wondered why these things happened to him, but in the end,
he admitted to God that he was ashamed of himself for
questioning things that were too wonderful for man to
understand.
Because of Job's humility,
the Lord rewarded him with more blessings than he had at the
beginning!
An interesting thing to
notice about all of this, is that you can obviously bring
about trial and tribulation in your life by making the wrong
choices with your own free will, HOWEVER, you can also bring
about trial and tribulation BY BEING GOOD ... like Job.
If you find that hard to
accept, and you're continually wondering why trial and
tribulation keeps finding you when you're trying so very
desperately to be good, just remember that your life is
really your Angel audition, and the test and trial factor is
just one means by which God chooses His Angels.
How many times might you
have been the subject of the test and trial factor?
|
1 Peter 4:12-13
Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery
trial which is to try you, as though some strange
thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye
are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when His
glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with
exceeding joy. |
Let's look at someone else who went through
the test and trial factor, and it may make your trials and
tribulations seem ... not so bad.
WHY does
God let things happen?
Sometimes things all depend
on the point of view that you look at them from:
Question: What kind of
father would be willing to kill his son?
Answer: Abraham - To prove
his love for God.
AND
GOD - To prove His love for
you.
If you believe that God
doesn't have a hand in any of our trials and
tribulations, that's simply not true. If your Angels treated
you the way the fallen Angels treated God, wouldn't you put
your prospective Angels through vigorous testing to assure
what the last group pf angels had done NEVER happens again?
I'd like to bring your
attention to the test and trial that Abraham endured.
|
Genesis 22:1
And it came to pass after these things, that God did
tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he
said, Behold, here I am. |
If you think you've faced
difficult times ... you may want to take another look.
Abraham was tested by God when He told him to sacrifice
Isaac for a burnt offering. The Lord led Abraham all the way
to the point where he was holding the knife above Isaac,
ready to plunge it into the heart of his beloved son before
God stopped him. What did God do because Abraham loved God
enough to sacrifice his son for Him?
|
Genesis 22:16-18
And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for
because thou hast done this thing, and hast not
withheld thy son, thine only son: That in blessing I
will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply
thy seed as the stars of the Heaven, and as the sand
which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall
possess the gate of his enemies; And in thy seed shall
all the nations of the Earth be blessed; because thou
hast obeyed my voice. |
When you think about this ... It breaks
your heart to think of the anguish that Abraham went
through. Have you ever thought of the anguish God went
through when Jesus was killed?
God went ALL the way through
with the sacrifice of Jesus.
Are your trials and
tribulations starting to pale in comparison?
Can you think of even one hero of the
Bible who didn't go through some kind of trial and
tribulation?
In conclusion to all of this, you can see that as Christians
we must strive to stop thinking like the world has taught us
to think. When you face trial and tribulation, it seems like
such a terrible horrible thing. We let it weigh on our
shoulders like heavy baggage. Picture yourself with your
luggage ... not just when you're traveling, but alllllll the
time. Everywhere you go, every single day, picture yourself
lugging it around with you. Ugh. You don't want to carry it,
you could get on with your business so much faster and more
efficiently if you just left it. It's not gonna follow you
out the door ... It's just gonna stay right where you leave
it. We put our trials and tribulations into our luggage, and
carry them around with us constantly. Friends, you have to
get a new perspective on things. Give it to God. He
promises that He'll carry it.
|
Psalms 55:22
Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and He shall sustain
thee: He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. |
Get rid of
the luggage, and get on with the business of serving God.
There's a different kind of burden that Jesus wants you to
carry around instead:
|
Matthew 11:28-31
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden,
and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you,
and learn of me;
for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find
rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my
burden is light. |
In general,
this is why children have such great Faith ... because they
don't know the burdens that the world teaches, so they
travel light, and there's more room for the Holy Spirit to
be their traveling companion, accompanying them through
their day, instead of a big heavy old suitcase stuffed with
troubles.
Next time
you feel tested, tempted, or tried, take a new outlook ...
remember what James teaches:
|
James 1:2-3
My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers
temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your
Faith worketh patience. |
About that
Angel audition --- Break a leg!
(For anyone
who doesn't know this: Break a leg is actually an expression
commonly extended to people who are about to audition for
something ... It doesn't actually mean 'break a leg' but
just the opposite in fact ... it's a sincere wish for
success.)
Take care and have a SON-sational Day.
