Ok we
all know life can be hard and sometimes we feel our life spiraling
out of control and there seems to be nothing we can do about it. we
want to feel in control of something or to let out all the pain and
hurt we have stored up, out. and right now I'm talking about
cutting. As a cutter myself I understand when we feel there's
no one to talk to and you want to be in control of something but
cutting won't help you that I can
promise.
It takes away the pain from somewhere between a few minutes to a few
hours some say it depends on the loss of blood but I don't know
anything about that what I do know is that cutting can make things
worse and it sometimes hurts more than not doing it at all and now
I'm not talking about physically I'm talking about
spiritually and emotionally. And the thing is that you realize the
mistake you've made after you start, maybe not right away but you
know its wrong. and sometimes you are hurting way more than before
just trying to stop and unhook from that
snare.
Life hurts sometimes I've figure that out and I'm sure so have you.
Maybe your looking desperately for answers or for a way out and
cutting has crossed your mind but as a friend I am warning you to
not do so. Now I don't have all the answers but I do know someone
who does, when your hurting and want to cut or burn yourself or
something different go to God. talk to a friend but do not cut.
PRAY.
Think about this if God wanted us to cut he would have never offered
us a way out and would have let us do whatever, handle it ourselves.
but fact is that he is there and he does care about whether you do
or not. I know its hard sometimes and you want to hurt yourself, be
in control of something hold on to something but hold on to God
then, not a knife, math compass, blade etc. Just don't cut no matter
how hard it gets.
Go to
God and pour out all your hurt to him and don't take it
out on yourself
IF YOU ARE
CUTTING
For
those of you who do cut or burn one thing you need to know is your
not alone. You're never alone. It's hard I know to overcome cutting
yourself and for me it was almost like a competition and I was so
mad when I broke the longest I hadn't cut. no one can really
understand what your going through or how hard it is unless they cut
themselves, and trust me I do understand. people can't really judge
you until they have gone through what your going through. I'm not
judging but I do understand its so hard to say no
sometimes and I understand how much it hurts. it can be beat though
BUT it takes allot of courage and strength and determination but
also you need faith, not in yourself but in God. Whether your
Christian or not you can beat it but having God on your side sure
makes it all easier. every day is hard but each passing day it seems
to get easier and easier. Don't just give up when it gets hard if
you want to beat this and your tired of it give it a shot and don't
just give up. I'm still going thru that battle
but it can be beat keep at it your friends are there for you and so
is God your not doing this alone.
