Welcome
This
program was created as to share the Biblical recipe for
obtaining and maintaining the HOPE that we need to overcome
the trials and tribulations that we encounter and endure, as
we sojourn down the Christian Walk.
WHAT
IS HOPE?
The
Bible gives us the Spiritual definition of Hope.
|
Hebrews 11:1
Now faith is the substance of
things hoped for,
the evidence of things not seen. |
Hope
is believing in the Unseen.
We are
SAVED by this HOPE.
|
Romans 8:24-25
FOR WE ARE SAVED BY HOPE: but hope that is seen is
not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope
for? But if we hope for that we see not, then do we
with patience wait for it. |
How do
we obtain this Hope?
Do we
have this Hope within us?
Absolutely ... And we have since we were children.
It is
a child like Faith that we seek, so we must look within
ourselves for this Hope.
Remember when you were little and you counted down the days until
your birthday or Christmas morning?
Remember the excitement you felt? Remember how nothing could
depress you during your countdown? All of your thoughts were
focused on that coming event and you KNEW that nothing could
stop it from happening!
THAT
is Hope.
THAT is the excitement that we should have about knowing that we
will be going to Heaven. Nothing in this world
should matter. Our yearly countdowns to what we deemed as
exciting events are futile in comparison to the promised
days that we have coming.
Holding onto the Hope that we have about going to Heaven
helps us keep our focus while living our last days here on
earth. The excitement about our Heavenly home helps us make
it through yet one more day…
Until we are finally home.
When
you were a child and after waiting 365 days… your birthDAY
finally arrives. You open the gifts, blow out the candles,
and the day ends.
The
promised event is GONE.
Over
the next several days, the birthday cake is eaten, the toys
and gifts become boring or break and things are back to the
way they were.
Mundane, boring, lifeless, empty, and
pointless.
Unless you set your mind and heart on a new goal.
Which as children, we had no problem doing so, but as we
grow older, we seem to lose sight of our goals much easier.
We
lose that child like FAITH.
Not that it is gone ... We just surrendered it.
It IS
still within us.
Why do we surrender our faith?
Cuz most of what we choose to Hope for is TEMPORAL and only
fills the void within temporally.
Things that we see all around
us are temporal.
They fade away.

2 Corinthians 4:18
While we look not at the things which are seen, but
at the things which are not seen: for the things
which are seen are temporal;
but the things which are not seen are eternal. |
But,
Heaven is ETERNAL.
That
means we enjoy the event FOREVER.
There is
only perfection. Only happiness, peace, joy, and freedom.
There
are no fears, no anger, no resentment, no tears, no empty
feelings, no shame…

Revelation 21:4
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes;
and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow,
nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain:
for the former things are passed away. |
Hard
to imagine, huh?
It's
true though. It's definitely worth the fight.
It's
worth finishing this game of “life”.
It's
worth sticking it out and fighting until the finish line.
There
is nothing but peace, love, and joy that awaits us.
This
